At Skeynia Castle, Joseph saw the signal showing Chantelle's intrusion disappear. A wicked smile crossed his face.
He grabbed his cane, stepped forward, and headed straight to the third basement level.
Fred quickly followed behind him.
"Sir, our firewall was breached. Shouldn't we strengthen our defenses?" Fred asked, looking worried.
He had been asking the doctor for some medicine when the security alert suddenly popped up, so he rushed over to report it.
But to his surprise, Joseph didn't seem bothered at all. In fact, he even laughed, like he had expected it.
Fred felt even more confused.
"No rush. We have guests coming tonight. Just leave these small things for now," Joseph said while a vicious small still tugging on his lips.
"Guests? You mean the ones who just hacked into the castle's security system?" Fred asked as he quickly understood what Joseph meant.
"You're not that dumb, huh," Joseph said, looking at him with a bit of relief.
