Carlos looked above him and laughed.
"My goodness, I did not believe that you would sacrifice yourself just for Ragon to win."
Ezekiel smiled.
"I had to, besides it's just a matter of a few months. For you and me, these few months don't even matter because they are a fleeting moment."
Carlos stared at the rift above his head and said. "But did you really think that I'd have no other way to escape the seal?"
Ezekiel read Carlos thoughts and the smile on his face disappeared.
"That rift leads directly into the underworld Carlos. Going in there will definitely keep you trapped for life."
Carlos sighed.
"I have to do it if I ever want to see my little lamb again or even protect her from Emily. I'm sure she would definitely try to harm her in my absence."
