It was late in the evening; the clouds hovered in the sky carelessly, as if they were feeling relieved that the sun wasn't bright anymore. The orange and purple hues coloring the sky offered a serene touch to the atmosphere. Couples, pertaining to the evening, held their hands tight, feeling romantic with the easygoing weather.
A convoy of cars entered the mansion; in the middle of it was a blue sedan. James was the first to open the door for Jenny, as he helped her exit the car. Layla went ahead and tried her best not to hurt her with her hug.
"Jenny! Finally, you're home," Layla exclaimed after she was satisfied enough with her improvement in health. There were subtle traces of burn marks over her hand, but other than that she seemed just fine. Even the wound over her head had healed quite drastically.
