Lorenzo gave her a lazy look, one of those smirks that hinted he knew more than he let on, before saying, "Go freshen up, change, and come out for dinner. I know you must be starving."

Silver nodded silently, still overwhelmed by the sheer scale of the mansion. He walked out of the room, the soft click of the door closing behind him leaving her alone in her suite. Alone with her thoughts, and alone with the weight of how drastically her life had changed. She barely had time to absorb the decor of the grand room when her phone buzzed.

It was Natalie.

Silver picked up the call, only for Natalie's high-pitched scream to nearly deafen her. "Silver! SILVER! What kind of heaven is this?! Are we dreaming?! I mean—did you see the chandelier? The freaking golden mirror? The slippers are silk!"

Silver blinked, still in a trance herself. "I... I know. I'm still trying to understand it all myself."
