"What do you think about Aria?" Jace asked as he spun in a circle. He was still in the torture simulations. They were about halfway through their twenty hour long joint session. After the first ten days inside of the simulation, while only ten hours passed outside of the simulation, he had run out of things to teach Nina. At this point he had talked about all of his experiences as a torturer, the tactics police interrogators used back in his home world. Even everything he had found while researching at the academy to better enrich himself and his ability to torture people.
Jace saw her look of disgust at his suggestion as he spun past. She had been helping him pick out a name for his new tiger companion. She had been vetoing names with a varying degree of disapproval. Disgust was the worst response. Shaking her head side to side was a resounding no. Then swaying her head side to side was a 'meh', meaning not good enough but not awful.
