"System, are you still there?"

Yin Jixue called out in her mind, her eyes welling up with tears of excitement — the system was her comrade, her partner through life and death.

Zzzzt zzzzt...

[Host, don't worry, I'm still here.]

Yin Jixue wiped away her tears with a laugh. "Why did you suddenly activate? The mission isn't even finished yet — the progress bar's still halfway full."

The system's signal seemed unstable, its voice stuttering badly, but she could still just about make it out.

[Host has grown stronger. The system can now break free from restrictions.]

Yin Jixue guessed it must be related to her sharing a lifespan with Lou Zhao — perhaps that had triggered the system's early activation.

She quickly asked, "How long can you stay active this time? How many more missions do I need to complete before you're fully free?"

[I can remain active indefinitely. However, due to system lag, the school construction mission must be completed for me to separate from your body.]

Yin Jixue promised immediately, "Don't worry, I'll make sure to complete the school as soon as possible."

[Th-thank you, Host.]

"It's me who should be thanking you," Yin Jixue said, smiling warmly. "You've always been helping me with the missions. No need for thanks between us."

Another burst of static came through — the system must have frozen up again.

But at least the mission was still active.

Yin Jixue hugged Lou Zhao from behind, burying her face against his back, and wiping away her tears on his clothes.

Lou Zhao caught her small hand. "All finished?"

Yin Jixue nodded firmly. "Mm, once I complete the school mission, the system can fully materialize."

Lou Zhao felt a surge of alarm. She'd just been crying — "What form will it take? Male or female?"

Yin Jixue thought for a moment. "It should be a girl. Even if it's a boy, it won't be very old."

After all, if it were truly powerful, it wouldn't have been so restricted by the higher authorities.

Lou Zhao finally relaxed.

When they returned to where the others were waiting, Yin Jixue asked politely:

"Would you like to view the houses first or the shops?"

The Sixth Princess smiled. "Let's look at the shops first."

She didn't want to waste any time — if she delayed, those Xuanwu Clan merchants would grab all the good locations!

In the end, the Empress and the Sixth Princess chose shops in the most convenient area — based on Yin Jixue's recommendation, of course.

That street was planned to become a commercial district in the future. Opening a shop there would turn a profit, or at the very least, it would be easy to rent out.

Since there weren't many local demons in Black Dragon Port yet, and the construction teams had built a lot of empty houses, most properties were available for sale.

However, property rights were still held by the City Lord's Mansion, so all sales had to be witnessed there.

With Yin Jixue present, the rental and sales procedures moved along very quickly.

The Sixth Princess was so excited she almost wanted to rush back to Qingluan Clan immediately, to get her sisters to come and buy houses and shops too.

She remembered Black Dragon Express's next-day delivery service.

But Yin Jixue shook her head regretfully: "Black Dragon Express is very popular. I believe all the deliveries for Black Dragon Port have already been dispatched."

Tiesheng was already working overtime, trying to manufacture more airfreight containers using blueprints and spare parts.

The Sixth Princess had no choice but to give up for now — she needed to focus on returning quickly.

Originally, they had only come to deal with the matter of Qingyuan. Now that everything was sorted, it was time to leave.

However, it was clear the Empress was in no hurry to go.

The Sixth Princess sighed inwardly. Of all the thousands of words in the world, love was the most painful.

When would her royal sister finally change her overly sentimental ways?

As for Yin Jixue, she now just wanted to rush back and plan the establishment of the school at Black Dragon Port.

Since she had to build a school, she decided to go all out — elementary, junior technical, and advanced professional universities — she wanted it all.

Yin Jixue hinted at taking her leave:

"I still have some matters to attend to today. Please feel free to explore the city. The amusement park at Black Dragon Port has just been completed. I'll arrange for a maid to guide you."

The Sixth Princess was curious why the Empress didn't object but waited until Yin Jixue left to ask:

"Royal Sister, what were you looking at?"

"She has something on her mind. Better not disturb her."

The Sixth Princess: ...

So she hadn't given up at all.

They declined the maid's guidance and decided to explore on their own.

In the end, the Sixth Princess and the Empress headed to the amusement park — said to be one of Black Dragon Port's major development projects.

At the park entrance, the Sixth Princess fell silent.

The creators of this amusement park... weren't they just a little too crazy?

Yin Jixue had envisioned the amusement park as romantic, cute, and fairytale-like.

In reality, the builders had gone for horror, evil, and dark fantasy.

Above the entrance crouched a giant sculpted dragon, mouth wide open, eyes glaring ferociously, lifelike to the extreme.

It felt as if it were challenging them to enter.

If Queen Consort Yin hadn't sent them here personally and with good intentions, the Sixth Princess might have suspected they had somehow offended her.

The Empress, however, showed no particular reaction her mind was still on the Queen Consort.

The Sixth Princess gritted her teeth and went inside.

The entire amusement park's attractions were based around magical beasts.

Every ride had introductions written in the common language of the demon clans.

Since the four demon clans' languages were mutually intelligible but not mutually legible, each description was provided in all four scripts.

The first thing the Sixth Princess saw was the Beast Carousel.

It wasn't just any carousel — the magical beasts were so exquisitely carved, even more realistic than the black dragon at the entrance.

Flying beasts would rise into the air, rotating high above the ground.

Non-flying beasts raced along the ground in wild, realistic circles.

But what stunned her was the Black Dragon Roller Coaster.

It was built using the real form of a black dragon as the model.

The hollowed-out dragon body served as the coaster cars, while the head and tail were preserved perfectly.

The whole sculpture formed a reclining black dragon.

The Sixth Princess's playful spirit was instantly sparked — wasn't this just trampling the Demon King underfoot?!

She couldn't resist wanting to try both the Black Dragon Roller Coaster and the soaring Beast Carousel.

"Royal Sister, let's ride this one!"

Only after she spoke did she realize she might have been too presumptuous — surely the Empress wouldn't stoop to riding a child's amusement ride?

But to her surprise, the Empress agreed.

"Let's give it a try."

Once seated in the Black Dragon Roller Coaster, automatic restraints snapped into place around their waists.

The Sixth Princess didn't quite understand why.

The coaster started slowly.

But this was a super-sized coaster — the tracks soared over a hundred meters high, even featuring gaps between sections.

The Sixth Princess thought This isn't too bad. Mostly for the show, shaped like a dragon.

The very next second, the coaster suddenly shot upward at terrifying speed, soaring nearly into the clouds — she could almost reach out and touch them — before plunging straight down.

Her eyes nearly popped out of their sockets.

The Empress's slender fingers were gripping the safety bar tightly.

Luckily, the coaster reconnected with the track after the free fall, then sped forward, looping and spiraling through the air.

The Sixth Princess vowed never again to underestimate anything from the Black Dragon Clan.

Afterward, she didn't even dare try the soaring Beast Carousel.

She spotted a Bumper Car arena too, with the cars shaped like ferocious Toothy Tapirs.

It looked manageable — manually operated, with no automatic motion.

Just as she was about to try, two local demons wearing identical uniforms hopped onto the bumper cars.

They were testers — responsible for testing the impact resistance.

The two of them immediately rammed into each other like mortal enemies.

The Sixth Princess shut her eyes, unable to watch.

When she opened them again, both demons had already walked off, completely unharmed.
