To Blake's shock, Andrew stepped forward and proposed a handshake. Even Max was a little surprised because despite Andrew's recent rise to fame, he had barely crossed paths with him before.
Out of politeness, he nodded his head in acknowledgement, leaving Blake in confusion.
"You know each other?" Blake asked with a blank look, swapping glances between them.
"Yes."
Andrew responded, causing Max to deliberately stare at him.
Meanwhile, Blake tried to keep his face from turning grim.
"Oh, why didn't you tell me instead of dragging me all the way here?"
"I thought my cousin had a minuscule scale of influence being a C-Rank student. I didn't know his acquaintance-making skills were top notch. I shall take my leave then."
Despite his plight, Blake thickened his skin and made one last dish remark to downplay Max before Amber, who was curiously listening.
