"Please calm down, Ray," Amalia said, looking around for anything that could help calm him down.
That was when Dimitri stepped forward and gave him a fierce hug. "I understand your pain, Ray. Follow me; I'll show you something," he softly said.
Sniffling, Raymond stopped crying and looked around a little embarrassedly, bowing toward Amalia and the other leaders. "Sorry," he said, barely audible.
But no one blamed him; they felt the same; they wanted to be hopeful and believe everything would be fine. But with Raymond's outburst, something shifted in their heads.
And Amalia and the other leaders turned around while Dimitri and Raymond left the training area. Looking back one last time, Raymond saw something shocking: they were actually sparring instead of aimlessly swinging around swords and spears.
