The longer I stood in a daze, the more he deepened the kiss and I couldn't help but respond.
It took a while for my eyelids to flutter and close as I let this harmless kiss overwhelm me.
His left hand slowly left my face and trailed down to my waist where he held it and pulled me closer, causing me to inhale at the proximity of our bodies.
"Ingrid."
Someone called my name but it only irritated me. I didn't want this kiss to end so abruptly but Hui slowly pulled away to stare behind me.
I already knew who it was even before Hui's face reacted.
I innocently looked over my shoulder and found Jelly staring at us in shock.
When his eyes dwelled on me, he frowned.
"You've got to be kidding me, right?" He blurted out.
Well, I knew what he was referring to. From the looks of it, he might've thought I was the one who kissed Hui first when it was the opposite.
I reluctantly pulled away and so did Hui as I turned to face Jelly.
