Nothing fancy, just comfortable, proper outfits they'd normally wear around the house.
Seraphina glanced down, then shot her mother a look. "You could've warned me."
Lilith sipped her tea like nothing had happened. "You looked too relaxed."
Seraphina sighed but didn't argue. "Next time, just say something first."
Seeing that Lilith had nothing else to say, Elowen looked around to see if everyone was doing before casually taking another sip of her tea, and with the same soft voice she'd always used to drop chaos into a conversation, she added,
"By the way… Seraphina's not the only one who made progress last night."
Four heads turned toward her in sync.
Although all of them knew that Elowen was trying to create chaos, they still needed to take this bait, as it involved Ethan, which they would not compromise on.
Liliana squinted. "What kind of progress?"
Elowen didn't even blink. "The twins. They took Ethan out on a date."
Isabella's eyes widened. "A date? With Ethan?"
