The warm mist filled the bathroom quickly.
Ethan stood under the steaming water, letting it wash away the day's weight. His muscles loosened slowly, the heat working its way through the leftover tension that even the Vault hadn't managed to squeeze out.
He didn't hear the door ease open behind him.
Didn't notice the two shadows slipping inside.
Evelyn paused just past the door, clutching the hem of her shirt tightly in her hands. Her heart was beating way too fast.
"Everly," she whispered, almost pleading, "are you sure this is okay? I… I don't want him to think we're… You know… desperate or something."
Everly gave her a small smirk and gently bumped her sister's shoulder.
"Shh," she whispered back. "If we wait around being shy, someone else will grab him first."
Evelyn flushed deeper but nodded slowly, swallowing her nerves.
They both moved quickly after that.
Soft fingers undid buttons.
Fabric slipped off warm, trembling skin.
