Even if Selena got away with her part in it, at least it would serve as a clear warning.
She made her way to the station with a tight chest and focused mind, ready to face more complications.
But the moment she stepped inside, something completely unexpected happened.
A small figure launched itself into her arms with such force that it nearly knocked the breath out of her.
"Pretty lady! Olly missed you soooo much! It's been forever!"
Elena froze, stunned for half a second, before recognition broke over her face in pure joy.
"Oliver!" she gasped, wrapping her arms tightly around him. "Where have you been? I've been so worried about you!"
The boy grinned, his arms thrown around her neck. "I've been on an adventure! But I wanted to see you again so bad. I didn't know where to go, so I asked a nice lady for help—and she brought me here."
