They wore black practice kits. Private sessions. Access to new data, new gear.

Disposable.
Jaden wasn't alone. Leo. Luka. Damien. Hiro. A few others.
The unchosen.
They trained harder. Fouls weren't called. Equipment "accidentally" malfunctioned.
One night, Luka looked at Jaden.
"You know they're trying to break us, right?"
Jaden nodded.
"So what do we do?" Luka asked.
Jaden tied his boots and stood.
"We win anyway."
