"Well... I have to say that amongst you Eternals, it is only your power which interested me. But sadly... you are too weak and can't compare to that flying laser guy there... I mean, I think their decision is stupid. I would never exchange you for someone like him... But I can't lie—it was funny how quickly they abandoned you."
Yeah, I was gaslighting her...
I was the reason Ajak decided to abandon her so quickly. She understood that if she didn't do that, I wouldn't just kill Ikaris—I would kill each of them. So, the decision can be said to be a wise one on her part. As for Sersi... sadly she's an emotional one, the type that's easy to manipulate...
It's not like I would let Sersi and Ajak interact with each other anymore. Just spending a few thousand years apart, and everything would be better. No need to clear the misunderstanding between them... I mean, I know that I kind of acted like the bad guy here, but hey—if the victim does not know that they are the victim because of me, and blames someone else, then it's completely fine, right?
And it's not like God would punish me for my evil deeds, 'cause you know, I am a God. And those things come after we die, and I don't plan on dying again—like, ever...
"It was because you forced them..." Sersi muttered, her face wet with tears...
"Did I? I clearly gave them a choice. Perfectly fine Sersi, or a critically injured... guy... and they chose him instead of you. It's as simple as that. If they wanted you, they just had to say the word. Not like I was planning on hunting down each of you. Those who had angered me the most are already dead... oh, and please do tell his name, it's getting annoying to communicate this way." I explained and gaslighted her even further... It was fun doing so—I mean, I quite enjoyed it...
No, I was not like this back when I was human. Or maybe it can be said that I was incapable of stuff like this. Now, as I am getting stronger and have passed the limit of mortals, my desires are getting more uncontrollable and unbounded. I no longer like to hold myself back and just tend to do whatever I wish to do. Of course, I have some moral limits—but now, I have come to understand why gods like Zeus did what they did...
I have actually come to suspect that the Olympians were ordinary humans suddenly granted god-like powers, because the way they act is quite similar. Even in the isekai novels and fics I read before, the protagonist, after getting overpowered, would either go live an ordinary life or tend to live the most lavish and enjoyable life they could. It's just that when we were humans, our desires tended to be controlled by our limits, which slowly fade away when we get stronger.
It would also define my current self—if the human me saw the current me, he would never come to believe that he could act so villain-like. But here we are. So if you think I am some evil, villainous bastard, you are both right and wrong. Since that is true—but if you were in my place, there are high chances you would turn out the same. So blaming me is bad.
Anyways, where was I? Yes, gaslighting the beautiful Asian woman...
"...."
Yeah, she fell silent after hearing my words. All my internal monologues were during the time she was silent—that's to show that she had been quiet for a while now...
"Are you just gonna be quiet now? Do you think I am the evil one here? After all, you guys were the ones who attacked me..." I sighed.
"...It was Ajak's orders... I did not wish to attack you..." Sersi said in a very small voice, likely choked up a bit on her tears...
"Ajak again? So she was the one who ordered the attack which led to half of you dying—and now, she decided to trade you off without even batting an eye? She does seem like the evil one here... She probably never cared about you guys..." I said, shifting the blame to Ajak—which kind of wasn't entirely false. She was the one who put them into this mess...
If this was a few thousand years later, the Eternals wouldn't have attacked me, since doing so would put humans at risk. But the current Eternals care far more for the Celestials than the humans. So Ajak ignored the well-being of humans and targeted me...
"Ajak wouldn't do that... she is so kind..." Sersi muttered again, lying to herself, thinking about Ajak's kindness. But those were all false... But worry not—I am here to guide her to the right path.
"You know, saying that won't change the truth. If it was as you said, why did she order you all to launch an attack at me, knowing that I am a Royal Aesir? The very same Aesir who were even able to contend against the Celestials. She still ordered you to attack. What was it if not a suicide mission?" I persuaded her further.
"....."
She fell silent again... okay, it was getting boring now. Expressive her was a delight, the silent her, not so much... Where's the fun in gaslighting when you can't even see them react?
"Okay, enough talk. You belong to me now. That is certain. So," I said impatiently, and cast a spell.
Infinity Prison.
And trapped Sersi. Yes, it was overdoing it—but I was just showing off.
By the way, if you are wondering, then yes, this Infinity Prison takes inspiration from the very same skill which had trapped the Storm Dragon Veldora for over three centuries. So yeah, Sersi can't break free.
Then, ignoring her, I moved toward the other Eternals.
"Well... since you are quite polite now... and I don't feel like killing you anymore..." I said, with pauses.
"Feel grateful. The God of Life has decided to grant you life. You said your mission here was to protect humans, right? You can continue doing that—but don't try to ruin what I have done. Or I will find you, and kill you. Or if I am too busy myself, I would just order to drop the Bifrost on you. So you get the drill, right? Act in line—or die. Simple as that.
It surely wasn't a pleasure to meet you. And hopefully for you, we may never meet again."
I said all of this with the brightest and warmest smile I could pull off. Then, without waiting for a response, I turned back and flew towards Freyja.
Oh, and I also levitated Sersi, who was imprisoned, with me...

Hello everyone,
As you might have noticed, I failed to upload a chapter yesterday. Sadly, my end-term exams start soon, and the deadline for every single fucking assignment is here...
So, you know, I was busy writing a practical manual—which was completely new, by the way. I ignored it so well the entire semester that I forgot I even needed to write one... I curse the past me. Bro left me all this mess...
Anyways, after a marvelous deal with a friend, she agreed to write it for me if I created all her presentations (PPTs) for her—which would take like... an hour?
So here I am, back again, uploading chapters as usual.
Please donate some power stones.
Thank you.
Yours truly,Bored_NPC_22
