But even with all that power I seem to have now... there's still something I can't fix.
Lately... I've been watching my father.
Robert Parr.
He tries to act normal—loving—always smiling when he holds me. But there's something different in that smile and some hesitation in his grip—like he's holding something foreign to him.
He doesn't hate me. That much I can tell. But he doesn't understand me either. And it's bothering him.
I'm not what he expected. Maybe my appearance still causes uncertainty. Perhaps I don't look enough like him. Maybe it's how I stare at people, quiet and unblinking, like I'm older than I should be.
But whatever the reason, he's started pulling away.
He talks to Mom less. Spends more time outside. And stays longer in the garage. When I reach for him now, he hesitates before smiling.
And Mom… she notices.
Helen's become warmer and fiercely protective. Every time Dad seems off, she hugs me longer. Whispers to me like I'm the only thing that matters. Sleeps with me curled beside her even when the crib's right there.
I think she feels it too—the wedge forming between them.
And without realizing it, I've become her anchor.
The breaking point for both came one night when the house was quiet.
The stillness that only settles after bedtime—when the dishes are clean, the toys are put away, and even the echoes of Dash's hyperactivity have finally faded into silence.
I lay in my crib, pretending to sleep, sometimes I found extreme difficulty in falling asleep, my brain was always too filled with information.
My eyes were closed, my breathing slow, my little limbs still and relaxed… but I was wide awake.
Through the fog of newborn exhaustion, and with the help of my Six Eyes I sensed the energy signatures moving downstairs.
Helen's glow was soft green and warm. Bob's? A duller green, usually vibrant but lately flickering like a dying bulb.
Their voices came from the living room. Whispered. Tense.
I enhanced my hearing—barely. And I listened.
"You're pulling away from him."
Helen's voice was calm but brittle. Like a glass that had been tapped too many times.
"I'm not—" Bob started.
"You are," she cut in. "You don't hold him. You barely look at him."
There was a long pause.
"He's… different, Helen."
"So are all our kids, Bob. Violet turns invisible when she's upset. Dash leaves sonic cracks in the damn walls. Jazelle literally walked through a locked vault because she was curious."
"This is worse, Helen." Bob's voice lowered further, a tremor in it. "He doesn't cry like a normal baby. His eyes glow sometimes. He looks at me like he knows what I'm thinking."
My heartbeat slowed as I heard that. I hadn't realized he noticed. I thought I'd been careful.
"He's a baby, Bob."
"No, Helen. He's not. Not just a baby."
There was silence again, heavy like a weight pressing against the walls.
"He's not mine."
Helen didn't respond for a while. When she did, her voice was so quiet I almost missed it.
"What do you mean?"
"I don't feel it. That connection. That… link I felt with the others. It's like…"Bob exhaled. "Like he's someone else's kid and I'm just raising him."
I felt it then.
The sharp pang in Helen's chest. Her glow dimmed slightly like her warmth had flickered. But she didn't lash out. She didn't yell.
She just walked closer. And in the coldest tone I had heard she said:
"What are you insinuating?"
"Don't pretend you don't know, You don't have to tell me who it was, but that baby is the result of your infidelity" he said
Another pause.
"I don't know how many times I have to tell you that I've never had an affair" Her voice was firm now, calm but unyielding. "And haven't you ever considered that his appearance could've changed because of a mutation in his quirk?"
Then, softer, like a whisper laced with emotion:
"There are a lot of people that don't even look human because of their quirks and you are ready to discard him just because his hair is scarlet and has special eyes."
Bob didn't respond.
His aura shifted. Swirled. He was struggling—fighting between the fear in his chest and the guilt growing behind it.
"Exactly Helen, those people don't look human, I have never seen a quirk mutation causing only a change in the hair without it being inherited"
"And if you are so sure he has awakened his quirk then let's take him to the Sanctum"
"Okay," she exhaled shakily. "But let's wait till he is older, he is barely a month old"
After she spoke, she stood up and began walking away but before leaving she said.
"But just know that your low trust in me pains me."
Their voices faded after that.
Mom checked in on me. She lingered by the crib, brushing her fingers through my hair. I kept pretending, letting my eyelids flutter slightly the way they do when I'm slipping into real sleep.
She kissed my forehead.
"My sweet child" she whispered, just for me. "I'll love you no matter what"
And I let myself drift into sleep.
Real sleep.
Ignoring all the family drama, I now knew something new about this world, there were also quirks and something called the Sanctum, If there's one thing saving me from total confusion, it's my sisters.
Violet and Jazelle.
They're twins, but not mirror images. Violet's quiet, introspective. Always reading, always listening to music or singing. Her energy is calm, deep green, and soft around the edges. Jazelle, on the other hand, is pure chaos. Green streaks in her hair, wild laughter a confident and seductive nature. Her aura flickers—sharp, bright green with golden sparks when she's excited.
The first time Jazelle held me, she looked at me like I was a puppy she desperately wanted to keep. Violet just sat beside her, gently stroking my hair, eyes wide with curiosity. They took turns making me laugh, changing my clothes, and even pretending to argue about whose room I'd sleep in once I got older.
They even used their powers to entertain me, and If Violet could turn invisible and create barriers, Jazelle could illuminate and phase through.
Where Violet hid, Jazelle revealed. Where Violet created walls, Jazelle passed through them.
She could bend light to become a beacon or a blinding flash, pass through solid matter at will, or even become untouchable for brief seconds—like a ghost made of sunlight.
The two were opposites—yin and yang—but together, they will be unstoppable.
They're amazing. Different. But equally obsessed with me.
Then there's Dash.
That kid is a bullet with legs. He zips into my room twenty times a day, pokes my cheeks, vanishes, then comes back just to say, "You're gonna be cool like me, right?"
Even though I can't talk yet, I smile every time. His energy is wild green with streaks of yellow. Always moving. Always burning.
In their own way, each of them has claimed me.
I'm not just the baby brother.
I'm the new center of their world.
Six Months
That's how long I've been living this new life. And honestly? I'm getting the hang of it.
My body is still soft and clumsy, but my mind… my mind is sharp. Sharper than it should be. I understand every word spoken around me, even if I can't form them myself. And my perception has only grown.
The Six Eyes have evolved.
My perception radius now spans over 2 kilometers, and I've started seeing patterns in energy. Emotional shifts. Tension in people's auras. It's like their souls are breathing, and I'm watching it happen in real-time.
But none of that compared to what happened today.
It started with a fever spike.
Not the kind that makes you cry and whine like a normal baby. No. This was internal—like my entire existence was vibrating. My body burned with pressure, and I felt something pushing out from within me. Like a balloon finally ready to pop.
I focused inward, trying to analyze the sensation.
And then…
Ding! A faint chime rang inside my mind. Not from the outside world—but from within my very consciousness.
A blue panel blinked into existence in front of me, translucent and hovering.

WISHES*
I stared at the interface, both fascinated and overwhelmed.
There were so many redacted or locked portions. But even what I could see was enough to shake me. "Soul Fragments, Divinity, Æther Art?"
What the hell did I reincarnate as?
And then there were the bloodlines.
Why did I have more than one? Why were there question marks next to my parent's names and my own
I had so many questions. Not expecting anything I asked inside my mind:
"System are you there?" But there was no response and I was honestly relieved, I never really liked system tropes in my past life
I tried one more time just in case "Status are you there"
A robotic female voice like Alexa responded: "I am here master" I was surprised but I still asked
"What are your functions"
"To record your status master," the voice said
... ..." And? "I asked bewildered
"That's it..." it responded "Wow you are really not that useful" I responded.
"I am useful" it responded almost sounding hurt. Ignoring it I asked, "Can you tell what Æther Art, true name, and soul fragments mean?"
"I am unable to, you have to figure it out on your own," it said "tch you really are useless, can you at least tell me the range of stats that exist?
"I can only tell you the weakest stat possible E-" Status said
"And you say you aren't useless" Based on what the status said I was weak as hell (logical since I'm a baby) and the only thing I had going for me was my soul and Æther affinity"
I kept reading the status and When I arrived at the WISHES* part, suddenly a message appeared in front of me:
Dear Little ghost,
If you are reading this it means you are around 6 months old, Are you happy with your new life? No? Well, I don't care. I granted your 6 wishes but as I said, nothing is ever free so each wish you asked has its consequences and now you'll have to live with them. I'm sure you've already noticed that the world you live in is a mess. Honestly, I made it with so many random worlds that I don't even know what the result will be hehe. As for having Victor Walker's abilities, I don't feel like giving you all because it will be too easy so I'll let you choose two and I will give you one. You'll have to figure out the deal with the other ones. Is more entertaining that way don't you think so?
PS. I am giving you this status page because I can and based on what I saw from your memories, you will be pissed when you get it and it can't do anything more than tell you the status hehe good luck, and make it entertaining, I'll be watching.
Choose
-There was a list of abilities and I saw the trick the God made when granting my wish, I could only choose among the abilities Victor had before becoming Victor Alucard.
Leaving my anger aside, I chose the abilities of the Snow clan and the blood of the night king. After I made my decision the message closed and my status updated

I now had the regeneration of a vampire and the abilities of the snow clan but they were locked and weakened.
"Hey status, Why are the abilities I just received already locked and weakened?" I asked
It seemed to doubt for a second "Because you aren't a vampire" She said "Makes sense, and how do I turn into a vampire in this world? Let me guess you can't tell me?"
"...."
I sighed, "Fucking God, he went and complicated my life with my own wishes, I guess it's my fault".
A moment later, I heard soft footsteps.
The door creaked open, and Helen peeked in. Her hair was tied messily up, a spatula in one hand. Dash had probably knocked over cereal again.
She smiled gently as our eyes met.
"You okay, baby?"
I blinked, cooed softly and played the role. She walked over, leaned down, and kissed my forehead.
