The ship Linda and Sil traveled on had arrived at the Green estate. The two of them walked off, and the ship soon flew off. Sil pressed on his ear piece, but he had yet to hear anything from either Vicky or Logan.
"I swear if they're—" Sil was about to say, before looking at Linda, and deciding to stay silent.
As the two entered the mansion, and looked around for Logan, Linda was thinking about what Mr Hot said. There was certainly something strange about the choice of words.
"So that Hilston man doesn't seem to leave the Blade's reputation." Linda brought up.
Sil stopped for a moment and clenched his fists. "That man… He keeps coming back to haunt me."
Linda gave a quick glance to Sil, "Heard he was your dad."
"He is," Sil spat out with venom in his voice, "I'm trying to move on, but everything stops me from doing so."
"Maybe you shouldn't move on," Linda suggested.
"If I did, then I would be left feeling empty now, wouldn't I?"
Linda stopped as Sil was right, she herself was feeling empty. If it weren't for being told to do certain missions, then she might've accomplished all she could in the world and decide to leave it. Still, there was one thing she could say about Sil.
"You're being hypocritical again."
"You as well."
They both didn't say anything to each other after that.

Eventually, Linda and Sil came upon Logan and Vicky in the main room of the mansion. Since it was a matter about the mission the two were sent on, Vicky decided to leave with Jake. They updated Logan on the status of their mission and how it was a success, even if Linda didn't fully agree on it with how Mr. Hot managed to escape. With the update done, Linda left and Sil was there with Logan
"So, why was she sent with me? You know I could've done everything myself." Sil began to ask.
"I am trying to keep track of all of the ex cursed faction members." Logan began, "Not only that, but Linda, I'm sure you are aware, experienced quite a few losses during the war. With the death of her brother and her lover, I sometimes send her on missions to keep her busy."
Sil recalled the somber eyes that she seemed to always have during their entire trip. Logan's words did have truth to them as Sil personally knew what it was like to lose someone close to him, and if he didn't have the goal of defeating several celestials then he might've not bothered figuring out a way to live beyond a normal human's lifespan.
"I see…" Sil muttered, before fake coughing and going, "Oh yeah by the way, Linda called you freaks."
"Would you mind elaborating on that?"
"Here's the thing…" Sil cleared his throat, "I know you love my sister very much, but that whole thing where we overheard you through the microphone?"
"Apologies, I was not expecting Vicky to be… active."
Sil gave his brother-in-law a look. "You don't always have to enable her behavior, like, sorry for being so blunt, but how are you still alive? Does she fuck the vitamins out of you?!"
"I've had to take supplements more often when I'm with her."
Sil sighed, and pinched the space between his eyebrows, "I can't believe I'm having this conversation."
"I am confused. You are clearly uncomfortable with this conversation, so why are you continuing it."
"Look, do you guys have no shame? I know you two love each other a lot, but you seriously need to calm down. What if we were in a fight, and you idiots were distracting us?"
Logan stayed quiet at that.
"I'm happy for you, but keep it a little more private next time, okay?"
"Noted."

Logan was in his lab, working away at the ship components. Next to him was the flask that Sil gave him. He took a glance at it before putting his hands on his mouth and almost hurling.
"...I'll work on that later."
He typed away at a keyboard, then connected a few cables to his arm as he was 3d modeling the parts of the new ship. This one was to have a 3d printer along with a mini teleporter that would allow one to transport items to the Green estate as if Sil was mailing him an item. There were also other additions such as an improved hull, engine, power generator, and other various things.
Logan was so focused on his work that he didn't turn around when his wife walked in, and almost tripped over the numerous wires that littered the floor.
"Logan! Would it kill you to clean up this place a little? What if I wanted to surprise kiss you?" She complained.
"I can expect any surprises you throw my way."
"You didn't expect that surprise when I took away your armor, or back at the computer room." Vicky replied back.
"Hmm… I did calculate that possibility." he muttered.
Vicky grabbed a nearby chair, and slid it next to where Logan sat.
"So… You wanna finish off that 'fight' we had?" She said as she leaned in towards her husband, and began to play with his hair.
Logan didn't look away from the screen as he thought about what Sil told him earlier that day, "We could, but… Do you think we spend too much time being intimate?"
"What do you mean? Do you not want to anymore…?" A little bit of dread crept into Vicky's mind.
"It's not that specifically," Logan began to clarify, "I just believe we lack self awareness of our actions."
"Oh…" Vicky stopped in her tracks, and sat in her chair normally.
"I still enjoy our times together, love." Logan said as he took a quick glance to his wife. He then stuck his tongue out as he fixated on solving a design issue in the ship's schematics.
Vicky leaned back and watched as her husband worked away. She did always love how invested he could get into a project, but she felt a little guilty for not thinking to hold back more on her desires. It was just gonna have to be another thing to restrain herself on.
"Logan…" Vicky whispered.
"What is it, love?"
"I've actually been thinking about this too." Vicky began fidgeting with a random nearby contraption, "I mean, I was thinking about how I left Jake to run off and do whatever while I was off making you whimper in the computer room."
"What are you getting at?"
"Well… y'know, maybe we shouldn't do anything for a while. Get our shit together."
Logan glanced in her direction before continuing to work, "Oh?"
"Yeah, like, let's actually be parents for once. Good parents." Vicky emphasized.
Logan looked at the ship's schematics then back at his wife before relaxing in his chair, "Remember that I still love you, we just need to be more aware of our surroundings. Keeping in mind time and place."
Vicky smiled and gave Logan a peck on the forehead, "Of course. I love you too."
