The Eight Gates Formation starts with the Opening Gate, also called the First Gate. This gate opens up the flow of chakra in your brain.
When this happens, your body's natural abilities double.
It's like a sudden burst of power, making you much stronger in a short amount of time.
However, it uses up a lot of energy, so you get tired faster.
If Sarutobi Ryo were just a kid, using the First Gate would probably leave him as exhausted as Rock Lee, his body completely drained, and his movements sluggish.
But Sarutobi Ryo isn't just anyone. He has six Kekkei Genkai and comes from the Sarutobi Clan. He's already way stronger than regular people.
So, when Sarutobi Ryo uses the First Gate, he might just breathe a little faster, feel a bit of a rush, and maybe get a little excited.

Suddenly, Sarutobi Ryo is moving all over the room.
He's so fast, he's just a blur.
Even without using any special Techniques or Kekkei Genkai , Sarutobi Ryo is already faster than Rock Lee after Lee takes off his weights.
To most Genin and Chunin , this kind of speed would seem like some kind of magic teleportation.
And when he uses Swift Release along with it, Sarutobi Ryo becomes unbelievably fast.

Since Ruri isn't here, Sarutobi Ryo has another member transferred from a different __ Anbu Squad to be his assistant.
It's Hatake Sakumo.
Namikaze Minato is showing that he wants to be the Fourth Hokage.
Hatake Sakumo, being more experienced, doesn't want to be left behind.
The point of this mission is for Sarutobi Ryo to use Hatake Sakumo as the main force to turn the tide in the war between Konoha and Sunagakure.
Hatake Sakumo is so strong, there aren't many Ninja who can beat him, except for the Third Kazekage.
If Hatake Sakumo can fight them one-on-one, he can kill most of Sunagakure's Ninja.
All geared up and ready, Anbu Squad Six quickly heads out on their mission.
Several days later.
Sarutobi Ryo and his team sneak into Sunagakure's back lines without being seen.
The Third Kazekage is staying inside Sunagakure.
Pakura, the new Kazekage , is busy fighting on all fronts.
They get all their information from Chiyo's younger brother, Ebizo, and the Sunagakure Anbu department he leads.
And Sarutobi Ryo is here to mess with the enemy's ability to gather information.
Actually, Sarutobi Ryo's real goal is to kill Ebizo or capture him alive.

Land of Wind.
Inside a bunker built underground by people.
Ebizo and the others are hidden here, and every day they send Anbu to different battlefields.
The Land of Wind is different from the Land of Fire.
It's three times bigger, but most of it is desert.
So, it's really hard to send information quickly from Sunagakure using regular methods.
Right now.
Ebizo is hiding in a place that's next to the Land of Rain to the north and the Land of Grass to the east.
It's a perfect spot to watch all the battlefields, so Sunagakure and the Ninja fighting can get accurate information right away.
Whoosh...
The wind blows, kicking up sand.
On a dark night, the members of Anbu Squad Six arrive at this spot.
Yamanaka Hui uses her senses to see chakra inside.
Sunagakure and Konoha do things a little differently when it comes to Ninja skills.
For example, Sunagakure doesn't have a round Barrier around their Village, which means they're not as good at Barriers and Sealing Techniques.
So, Yamanaka Hui can easily find where the enemy is hiding.
"A clever rabbit has many escape routes... there are several entrances here."
After looking around, Sarutobi Ryo figures out what the underground building looks like.
He grabs a Suna Ninja at random and uses Torture to get the exact layout from his mind.
Getting information is a race against time.
The missing Suna Ninja will be missed soon.
So, Sarutobi Ryo decides to act right away.
Anbu Squad Six splits into two groups.
Sarutobi Ryo and Yamanaka Hui are one group.
Hatake Sakumo and the Umino couple are the other.
The two small teams split up and sneak in from different entrances.

Going down the passage.
Sarutobi Ryo is careful, using Yamanaka Hui's senses to avoid some of Sunagakure's Anbu.
They could easily take care of these minor enemies, but Sarutobi Ryo decides to wait.
He doesn't want to do anything until he knows exactly where Ebizo is.
He twists and turns through the confusing underground building.
Yamanaka Hui says, "Young Master, we can't avoid them..."
There are some places they just can't get around.
There are two Sunagakure Anbu patrolling ahead, and in 10 seconds, they'll meet.
"Okay, leave it to me."
Sarutobi Ryo focuses his mind, stands in the passage, and waits for the two Sunagakure Anbu to come around the corner.
9, 8, 7, 6...
Sarutobi Ryo and Yamanaka Hui count down in their heads.
The sound of footsteps gets louder and louder.
Finally... three Sunagakure Anbu appear around the corner.
Whoosh!
Sarutobi Ryo's body flickers, and he uses Swift Release to appear behind the two Suna Ninja like lightning.
This move is only second to Namikaze Minato's Flying Thunder God Technique Stage Two, and the Fourth Raikage and Hatake Sakumo's extreme speed state.
Sarutobi Ryo has clearly gotten a lot stronger than before.

Hatake Sakumo and the others have also come from another passage.
The Konoha team will soon be together again.
And outside the office, there are four Sunagakure Anbu guards.
"Eight Gates Formation... First Gate... Opening Gate, open!"
Sarutobi Ryo suddenly unleashes his Potential.
Opening his brain region doubles his body's power.

It's like car headlights shining on the glass windows of shops after work at night.

Sarutobi Ryo has finished the fight.
The Storm Release - Laser slices through the bodies of the four Ninja.
By the time Sarutobi Ryo appears again.
The four Sunagakure Anbu who were frozen in place also fall to the ground, becoming dead lumps of flesh.
