Chapter 30 - Gift.

"Professor Einar!"

Hermione quickly approached Einar with confidence, holding several books in her arms.

Einar noticed that some of them seemed to be Muggle books and looked at her with interest while standing in the hallway.

"I've been studying house-elves, as well as slavery"not just theirs, but also that of humans in general," she said quickly, showing her books. Einar had to help hold some of them to keep them from falling.

"There are also books on psychology and the mindset of slaves in Muggle history," she added, showing notes scribbled all over the pages.

"Alright, just tell me what conclusion you reached," Einar said, feeling a slight headache from seeing so many words and hearing Hermione talk so fast.

"I still want to free the elves," she declared seriously, making Einar stare at her for a few seconds before smiling.

"Even if that means freeing creatures that are obviously more powerful than many common wizards?" Einar asked seriously.

"There are multiple magical creatures more powerful than common wizards, and they are not their enemies... unless they are antagonized," Hermione replied with determination.

"Mmm... Fine, I'll support you," Einar said with a smile, intrigued by what might happen.

"R-Really?" Hermione asked quickly, her face lighting up with excitement.

"Of course. Anyway, if things get out of hand, we just have to wipe out a race. I'm good at that," Einar commented with a confident smile.

His words left Hermione in shock for a few seconds.

"N-No... I don't think wiping out a race would be necessary," she quickly replied.

"Maybe if they're freed, it'll bring an interesting enemy," Einar murmured, not paying attention to her. "Alright, here."

He pulled out a bag full of gold and placed it in Hermione's hands.

"If we need to give them weapons, just let me know. I'll teach them how to make them."

"No, Professor... That's not what I'm trying to""

"War doesn't sound so bad," Einar said, ignoring her as he walked away, leaving Hermione staring at the bag of gold in her hands in confusion.

"Professor, you forgot your pin!" Hermione exclaimed, but Einar had already disappeared.

"Ugh... Well, at least he joined," she muttered, turning around to invite her friends to join as well.

...…..

"It's the dragon professor," an ethereal voice said, catching Einar's attention.

He turned toward the courtyard and saw Luna sitting on the edge of the fountain, calmly swinging her feet.

"Why are you out here when it's so cold? And why aren't you wearing shoes?" Einar asked, frowning. It was far too cold to be barefoot.

He glanced at her bare feet, which moved lightly in a relaxed manner.

"My classmates hid them as a joke, but I couldn't find them, so I just went out like this," Luna replied with a smile.

"Did you tell your Head of House?" Einar asked quickly.

"Why?" Luna responded, confused.

Einar sighed.

"Wait a moment…" he said, knowing it would be difficult to make her understand.

He rummaged through his magical bag and pulled out a pair of rather large black boots with a sharply defined tip, immediately catching Luna's attention.

"These are called Jester's Boots. I'm sure you'll like them," he said casually as he handed them to her.

"But I think they're a little too big..." Luna quickly observed, looking at them with interest.

"It's fine. They'll adjust to your feet. They also have some enchantments you might like," he replied.

Luna took his word for it, and as soon as she put them on, her face lit up with happiness when she noticed they fit her perfectly.

She started walking around Einar, surprised that her steps made no sound and that the boots made her feel as if she were walking on clouds.

"They're enchanted to return to their owner, so you won't lose them," Einar explained.

"Thank you," Luna said happily.

She took off her earrings and placed them in Einar's hands before skipping away with her new boots.

Einar looked at the earrings in his hand, a bit confused. They were tiny radishes... But still, he put them away.

"Dren," he called out seriously into the empty air while watching Luna disappear down the hallways.

"Sir," Dren responded, quickly emerging from a dark portal and bowing his head submissively.

"Retrieve her belongings. And make sure the culprits suffer until they beg for forgiveness on their knees for their misdeeds," Einar ordered darkly.

"Yes, sir," Dren replied immediately before turning into a dark mist and spreading through Hogwarts.

Einar continued on his way. Today was the day the other two schools would arrive at Hogwarts for the Triwizard Tournament, and all the professors had to be present to welcome them

...

That night, Einar, along with the other professors, waited calmly while the students murmured curiously about what to expect from the visitors.

Some spoke about Durmstrang's reputation as a school that emphasized Dark Magic, while others mentioned the elegance associated with Beauxbatons.

Einar thought about the magical school of Hibernalia. It would be interesting if their students could compete as well... But that was impossible.

"Professor Einar, is it okay for you to wear your mask when meeting the headmasters and students of the invited schools?" McGonagall asked quickly.

"Well, if you don't want them flying away the moment they arrive, I suppose it would be the wisest choice," Einar responded without much interest.

"Why not just take it off until after they arrive? That way, we won't seem discourteous," McGonagall suggested quickly.

Einar looked at her suspiciously and then remembered what he had told Neville. He also noticed how the professors had put in the effort to decorate and polish every trophy, suit of armor, and painting in the school.

Obviously, they wanted to show off Einar's appearance… He supposed it was just out of pride.

Maybe they just wanted to flaunt their handsome, young professor?

Einar simply smiled and played along. He took off his mask, which this time was Otar's.

As soon as they saw him without it, many nearby students immediately turned with excitement.

The girls, in particular, fell completely silent, admiring his beauty.

McGonagall smiled victoriously as she nodded proudly toward Einar. She also glanced at the students, who were now silent, staring at their handsome professor. So, in the end, She had achieved two goals in one move. Quickly, she returned to her place next to Dumbledore.

"I hope you don't mind. Minerva can be a bit competitive," said Professor Flitwick, standing beside Einar.

"I don't mind. I wear the mask to contain my words. Where I come from, strength matters more than appearance… well, at least for men," Einar replied calmly.

"I see… A tough place to be born with such an outstanding appearance," Flitwick commented with a smile. "But since you're so strong, the woman who wins your heart will get a double prize."

Professors Sprout and Sinistra, who had been listening to the conversation, quickly became interested. After all, Einar wasn't very talkative"or rather, ever since he had nearly defeated them all, they felt a bit embarrassed to approach him. However, they wanted to take the opportunity to get along with their colleague. After all, they worked together.

"Speaking of that, Professor Dovahkiin, what kind of woman do you like?" Professor Sinistra asked curiously.

"Hmm… Well, I haven't really thought about it until now. I'm usually off on adventures or in life-threatening situations, so I never had time to consider it. Though, since I arrived here a few months ago, I've been living quite peacefully," Einar said, rubbing his chin thoughtfully.

"You're so young and quite powerful. You could choose any woman, and she would surely accept," Sprout said with a friendly smile.

"Well, if he's going to choose a partner, I think he shouldn't do it randomly," Flitwick commented seriously.

"Why not? He's still young and has a future full of excitement ahead of him," another professor interjected. This time, it was Madame Hooch, the Flying instructor.

Meanwhile, Hagrid also became interested in the conversation and decided to join in.

"Maybe Einar prefers a strong woman, someone who can face him in battle," he said enthusiastically.

His comment made everyone fall silent. After all, they all remembered how Hagrid had been sent flying all the way to the Great Hall after colliding with Einar, who had only used brute strength.

"Well… maybe that's impossible," Flitwick commented.

Everyone nodded in unison.

Einar watched the professors with interest. It wasn't common for them to talk to him, but he smiled easily upon seeing that, after all, they were quite friendly. Except, of course, for a certain large bat with a serious face who ignored everyone"especially him.

Einar felt something approaching from the sky, so he quickly looked in that direction with a serious expression.

"Something is coming from the sky!" someone exclaimed, prompting everyone to look up to see what it was.

As it got closer, they realized it was a carriage pulled by several winged horses flying at great speed toward Hogwarts.

"Those are Abraxans!" Hagrid said excitedly as he watched the majestic winged horses.
