Amelia smiled sheepishly.
She wanted King Cyrus to be the first to see her when she dressed up for the birthday party.
It was the first time she had dressed up for an occasion. She was used to taking and wearing worn-out or rejected clothes from Hannah. Thus, she was pleased today.
"Is he in the hall?" Amelia asked.
Miss Quinn relented in the girl's hopeful expression and smiled before nodding.
Cyrus, who returned from the meeting and didn't know why Miss Quinn asked him to wait in the hall of their palace, raised his brows when he heard her voice.
His lips twitched at the giddiness in her voice.
Honestly, he thought that living with this healer girl would be helpful, and he was kind of glad that she loved someone else and would run away. That way, he could kill two birds with one stone.
He wouldn't have to live with a healer and could accuse them simultaneously.
