"Did he make you nervous?" Cyrus asked when he entered the room and saw Amelia writing something in her diary.
He walked closer to her and saw her jotting down some formula that looked too complex for the human brain. The girl was indeed serious about her work.
"He is intimidating, no doubt," Amelia answered his question once she was done writing the last part of the formula.
Cyrus didn't say anything and got into bed.
After a week, sleeping with the girl didn't seem as unbearable as it used to. He was getting used to her throwing her legs at him when sleeping.
"Will it take long?" Cyrus asked.
He paused after he asked that question. Wait. Why did it look like they had changed their roles? Why did he sound like a wife waiting for her husband to finish his work and come to bed to cuddle?
The thought furrowed his brow, and he glared at the back of the girl who was still busy with work.
