"What did you just say?" I asked, my voice was barely stable.
"I said, I knew who murdered your parents." His voice was calm.
I scoffed. What the hell was he going on about? My father was alive, the only person that dies was my mother.
Yet… his voice held that strong confidence as he talked to me.
"You think I'd ever believe or trust a word you say to me after what you attempted to do to me?" I shook off his grip and took a step away from him.
"You barely know me yet you have the nerves to come meet me and tell me you know who murdered my parents." I took a step forward. "If Incase you don't know, my mother died while bringing me to this world. As for my father… you saw him clearly with your own eyes."
"I'm telling you the truth Serena, I know who the culprit is and I will tell you only if you will listen to me."
