The words Arnold uttered caused quite a stir amongst the students.
Yet the noise quickly subsided when the teacher walked out of the gym.
Everyone followed him.

Noa strolled with them, holding his breath.
"Are you nervous? Or is it just me?" Martha asked as she walked beside him.
Ezra, Rika, and Arthur were with him as well, completing the team.
"As long as you aren't scared," Arthur answered, trailing his words with a hint of irony.
It was somewhat unusual for him to speak this way.
Yet, no one said a thing.
"That's the problem," Martha added, and showed how her hand was shaking. "I am scared as well."
Rika patted her back.
"It's okay to feel that way. Even I am trembling inside," she said, trying to lift the girl's mood.
Meanwhile, they covered the distance and reached the destination.
