The entire cave had turned eerily silent at Rivet's entrance. He and his team walked in, senile smirks stretched across their smug expressions.
They were four in number now—one less than before—but none of them seemed to care. In fact, they looked confident, dangerous even.
"Don't worry, Kairos," Rivet said, a crooked smile tugging at his lips. "I'll make sure to put that video to good use... by uploading it for everyone to see."
Maybe now he wouldn't need to kill Kairos. Watching him suffer—the humiliation, the fear—would be far sweeter.
