Realizing I was only one kill away from completing the mission, I paused.
"Even though I only need to kill one… that'll come after this."
I looked at the other mission displayed before my eyes.
It was the special mission to obtain a Certificate, which would grant me the Limitless effect something I had already planned to pursue.
"The Limitless Certificate has a single effect…"
As its name suggests, Limitless means breaking the cap on statistics.
All ranks have a limit on their recorded stats, but this certificate completely removes that cap. Of course, for the chosen ones, an enormous amount of coins is required to apply the effect.
In my case…
"I just need to use the Devour effect of my stigma."
This stigma uses the souls of defeated monsters, stealing one-third of their statistics.
