Back to Velsun who was thinking how to make the kingdom prosperous.

"Now what I need is to make this kingdom prosperous again Mimir any suggestions."

Mimir's voice echoed in my mind, calm and amused as always, like an old sage sipping ale under a tree.

"Aye, lad. Now that you've got yourself a kingdom and a fancy throne to sit on, let's not let it rot, eh? Here's a few ideas to get Solara back on its feet faster than a dwarf with fire under his beard."

1."Secure the Borders"

"First thing's first—defense. The walls are shattered worse than my last relationship. Get the mages and craftsmen working together to reconstruct and reinforce them. Use those captured Gloran architects—they've got some skill."

2."Revive the Land"

"Use your divine presence to purify the soil. Your aura alone could probably bless the land into growing golden apples if you focused. Or better yet, channel that energy into a few large-scale blessing rituals. Make the crops grow like crazy."

3."Trade & Roads"

"Get trade routes open. Fix the roads, send emissaries to nearby neutral or weak kingdoms. Offer 'protection' and fair trade in exchange for goods and alliances. Nothing wins hearts like full bellies and shiny trinkets."

4."Appoint the Right People"

"You've already got Reinhart as general. Good move. But you'll need a council—economists, scholars, healers, and at least one grumpy old bastard who tells you when you're being daft. Trust me."

5."Raise Morale"

"Host festivals, lad. People love food, music, and stories about how you blew up an army with a rasengan-sized sun. Let the legend of King Velsun grow—not out of fear, but love and awe."

Mimir chuckled.

"You're not acting like an evil manipulator, lad. You're acting like a king who's too strong for his own good. The trick now is using that strength to build, not just destroy. Fun, eh?"

After Mimir was done with the planning I turne my attention to Darius.

"Darius I appoint you as my prime minister. And I want you to call a meeting include all the ministers and officials who were appointed when you were the king." I said with asmile.

Darius bowed deeply, his old but sharp eyes gleaming with loyalty and pride.

"As you command, my lord," he said, a faint smile forming beneath his beard.

"It shall be done immediately. I will summon all surviving ministers and officials to the royal council chamber by dusk."

He turned, already barking efficient orders to nearby guards and scribes, his demeanor slipping back into the commanding presence of a seasoned ruler.

Mimir's voice chuckled in your mind.

"A good choice, lad. Darius has the experience, and now he's got the motivation. Let's just hope the other ministers aren't complete tossers."

Reinhart stepped besides me and gave a slight nod.

"With you as our king, and Darius managing the state, this land might just become something legendary."

I nodded at that. But suddenly I turned Reinhart? did't I sent this guy for interigation of Glora?

"Reinhart I thought I sent you for the integretion of Glora kingdom. Is it done already?"

Reinhart stood tall, his silver armor still carrying the dust from the campaign, but his tone was composed and efficient.

"Yes, my king," he responded, placing a fist over his chest.

"The integration of the Glora Kingdom should be done very soon I have sent the best men available right now to integrate Glora into Solara."

He continued, voice steady:

"If my estimations are correct the Solaran troops at key outposts should have begun disarming the remaining Gloran forces."

Then he took a pause before asking.

"My king what should we do with the remaining Gloran soilders who will be captured in the integration."

Then I responded without hesitation." GIve them fair treatment. They may have been enemies but now they are a part of Solara they deserve it."

Reinhart smiled.

"As expected he is kind hearted and just."

"Their capital city should surrender without resistance once news of their king's capture spread."

Then he added with a confident smirk.

"The civilians would initially be wary, but with your swift victory and fair treatment of the captured soldiers there fears must have eased by now. They might start calling you the 'Sunborn King'. As people of Solara are also calling you that. Apparently, the sun spell left quite the impression."

Mimir snorted in your mind.

"Sunborn King, eh? That's got a nice ring to it, lad. Just try not to let it go to your head."

"Do you wish to visit Glora yourself, or shall I continue overseeing the final stages of integration?" Reinhart asked, waiting for my word.

"No it's fine Reinhart. Stay here for now." I replied to Reinhart.

"But keep an eye for those who become an obstacle in the integration. If some nobles try to rebel deal with them in the dark. Appoint someone you trust.

Then i turned towards karlos.

"Karlos."

"What is it my lord."

"I want you to assist Reinhart in this task deal with any threat swiftly understand?"

Reinhart gave a respectful nod, his expression calm but sharp."Understood, my king. I already have a few candidates in mind—loyal knights with experience in covert operations. I'll keep things quiet."

Karlos with a faint glint in his eyes as he placed a hand over his chest and bowed slightly.

"It shall be done, my lord," he said with a dangerous grin.

"If any worms dare rise against your rule… they'll never even see the blade."

His tone was calm, but tand? The edge behind his words carried weight.

Mimir's chuckle echoed in your mind.

"Aye lad, you've built yourself quite the fearsome court. One smooth knight and one silent executioner. Just don't forget to balance all that steel with a bit of gold—or the kingdom might end up too cold."

Reinhart added,

"We'll maintain order and ensure the integration is smooth. I won't fail you, Lord Velsun."

With my two most loyal pillars in motion, Solara was beginning to shape into a proper kingdom—quietly strong, yet vigilant beneath the sun's warm gaze. Now I Will wait for the council meeting that I told Darius to call.

The sun had just dipped below the horizon when I stepped into the grand meeting hall. The air was warm, heavy with anticipation. Golden light from enchanted lamps bathed the room, flickering softly against the polished stone walls. Banners bearing Solara's new insignia—my insignia—hung proudly behind the high table.

I walked in first, calm but imposing, followed closely by Reinhart, Karlos, and Zalario. Darius was already there, standing with a straight back, nodding his head as I approached.

"All the ministers and officials from both Glora and Bermud are present," Darius informed me. "They're… tense. Curious. But they came."

I took my seat at the head of the long table. My fingers tapped against the surface, a rhythm of authority. Everyone fell silent.

"Let's begin," I said.

I raised my hand, signaling Reinhart. "First. Borders. They must be secured. Fortify the key regions. I want scouting operations along every vulnerable stretch. Choose commanders you trust—no second chances."

Reinhart gave me a sharp nod. "Already on it. Patrols are in motion, and fortification plans are underway."

"Good."

I turned to Darius next. "Second—trade and infrastructure. Roads, trade routes, markets. Rebuild and expand. We're not just surviving—we're growing. Get the merchants, builders, and minds you need. I want results."

"As you command," Darius replied, already scribbling down notes.

I stood slowly, scanning the room of gathered officials. Some of them flinched under my gaze, others met it, barely hiding their uncertainty.

"Lastly," I continued, "I will be handpicking the new Council of Solara. No more puppets sitting on these chairs because of blood or wealth. I want visionaries. Warriors. Strategists. People who believe in the future we're building."

There were murmurs—some surprised, some defiant. I didn't care.

"This kingdom isn't a crumbling relic of the past. It's something new. Something powerful. And I'll only build it with people worthy of that vision."

Zalario, silent until now, finally spoke.

"A wise choice, Velsun," he said calmly.

"A true kingdom is shaped not by gold or steel… but by the strength of those who sit beside the king."
