Jincheol Park calmly sipped his mojito as he glanced at Hansu.
"Your disciple sure is talented, Hansu."
Hansu smiled, graciously accepting the compliment. Any praise about Apollo filled him with pride—after all, the boy was his student.
Manager Kim gave Hansu a friendly pat on the back, his tone light but sincere. "He's right, you know. In fact, I haven't seen that kind of talent in a long time." His expression turned curious. "Not only did he copy your Kyokushin straight fist, but he also had those... peculiar eyes."
The three men were sitting in Hansu's home, enjoying a quiet afternoon together. The room was dimly lit, curtains drawn—a habit Hansu had picked up from his wife. They sat in his room, chatting over snacks, seemingly ordinary to any outsider. Just three friends catching up.
"Yeah..." Hansu muttered, brows furrowed, "I was shocked when I saw those eyes."
Both Jincheol and Manager Kim recognized that look—it was Hansu's "dead serious" face.
Manager Kim leaned back in his seat. "Remember what we heard about Japan? Back in our day, we were explicitly told not to mess with that country." He waved a hand casually. "One time, I peeked into a restricted folder. Only one name was written there... Yamazaki."
Hansu's eyes widened. "You think Apollo's connected to the Yamazaki? A spy?"
He didn't want to believe it. No—he refused to believe it. Apollo was someone he cherished, someone he would fight for without question. But Hansu wasn't a fool. Even if there was a chance, he had to investigate.
Jincheol chuckled, trying to lift the mood. "Don't worry. I've heard some news about the Yamazaki clan..."
"Oh?" Hansu leaned forward. "What is it?"
.
.
.
Apollo stared blankly at the mess in his room. Gongseob was sprawled out on the bed, snoring as if he owned the place. Taesoo was sipping lemonade—the one Hansu's wife had kindly served.
Yes... all of them were drinking it.
Currently, Taesoo, Jichang, Gongseob, and even Jagyeon were stuffed inside Apollo's room.
Next door? Hansu's room. Where his friends were likely discussing something nostalgic or "old people business," as Apollo would call it.
Apollo held his head, groaning at the pounding headache. His so-called friends were going to be the death of him.
Only Jichang sat calmly, though even he looked painfully bored.
"When are we going to move, Apollo?" Jichang asked, his voice laced with fatigue.
Apollo had called them together for a trip to Cheonliang—something about a formidable opponent. Naturally, curiosity got the better of them, and they all agreed. But as soon as they arrived at his house, Hansu's wife intercepted them with a radiant smile.
She insisted they stay for lunch—something about finally meeting Apollo's friends.
Jichang remembered Apollo glaring daggers at all of them, eyes screaming: If any of you decline, I will beat you half to death.
And so, all four kings found themselves in Apollo's room, waiting for lunch to be served.
"Food's ready!" came a voice from the kitchen.
Of course, with enhanced hearing, everyone in the room heard her crystal clear.
Gongseob, who had been snoring moments ago, shot up like a bullet. "Food's ready?! What are you all waiting for?!"
Jagyeon groaned, pushing himself off the floor. Why did I even agree to come here...
Apollo finally opened the door, leading the way as the rest of the kings followed him out. But just as they stepped into the hallway—
So did Hansu's friends.
The legendary trio of Korea.
Everyone froze. The air shifted. The hairs on the backs of their necks rose.
Goosebumps.
The kings narrowed their eyes, instincts kicking in. These men weren't just strong—they were monsters. Even Taesoo, who had long given up on being surprised around Apollo, widened his eyes in shock.
Just standing near them was enough to trigger their combat reflexes.
"What are you all gawking at each other for?" Hansu's wife said with a sweet smile. "Come on, the food's ready."
Hansu moved first, obediently following his wife's call. The others trailed behind him.
Gongseob edged closer to Apollo, whispering through clenched teeth. "Who the hell are these monsters, and how do you know them?"
Jichang, Taesoo, and Jagyeon kept their senses on high alert, eyes focused. They were just as curious.
Apollo sighed. This day was not going as planned.
"Guys, this is my teacher and his friends... And, sensei—these are the 'kings' I told you about."
Hansu nodded. Jincheol studied the group, noting the raw talent in each of them. It was astonishing. One Apollo was already a generational monster—but now there were several of them?
'This generation of Koreans... what the hell is going on?' he thought.
Click.
Another door creaked open. Out stepped a bored-looking Taehun, followed by two little girls.
Apollo looked at the trio and smiled. All three kids, huh? One's from Manager Kim's manhwa, another's from Viral Hit... and the last? My Life as a Loser.
Meanwhile, Hansu's wife placed the dishes on the table, blissfully unaware of the sheer firepower gathered in her home.
This group could topple nations.
Yet here they were—sitting down together, eating lunch, and chatting like old friends.
Far away, in the eerie depths of a juvenile prison, a different monster sat on a makeshift throne made of unconscious bodies.
His black hair was slicked back, sides neatly trimmed. His compact, chiseled frame exuded controlled power. He was 185 centimeters tall and carved like a weapon.
His throne was built on dominance, and his devilish grin made the nearby inmates shudder in fear.
But what caught his attention wasn't the trembling subordinates struggling to hold off a janitor...
It was the janitor himself that piqued his curiosity.
"Are you Shingen's son?" Charles Choi's voice thundered across the room. "I'll give you a chance, Yamazaki. Become my wings. I'll help you get anything you want. I'll help you rule the world."
Gun simply stared at him with those reverse eyes.
His grin widened.
Like a madman.
