Ajax laughed at my sarcastic tone as he stood up, brushing stray blades of grass from his clothes. He then extended a hand toward me, a mischievous gleam in his golden eyes.
"I am not that creepy. It's all in your head," he said playfully.
Rolling my eyes but still accepting his help, I grabbed his hand. He pulled me up with ease, and I immediately began dusting off my dress, grumbling under my breath.
"Yeah, right, Ajax," I muttered, voice dripping with sarcasm.
He only chuckled, utterly unbothered. "Come on. Don't you think my other form is cute too?" he teased with an exaggerated smirk.
I shot him an unimpressed look. "It almost gave me a heart attack."
He burst out laughing again, his shoulders shaking.
Before I could say anything more, I noticed a familiar golden mist beginning to gather around him once again. My eyes widened in alarm, and I instinctively took a few steps back.
"Wait, wait, don't you dare…" I stammered.
