Chapter 42 – New Martial Art.
The golden sun of the afternoon was high in the sky, its soft but fiery light spreading over the Moonwalker Estate. Leon and Aria stood in the large, enclosed training area, a slight breeze pulling at their hair and clothing.
The arena was enormous — a gigantic oval-shaped floor with stone pillars rising from it to be adorned with ancient patterns of runes. The earth consisted of soft mud and reinforced boulders, ideal for battle without doing a great deal of permanent damage. Along the boundary, there stretched tall trees creaking with the wind and casting fractured silhouettes about the field. This was not an ordinary battleground — it was the private playing field of the Moonwalker Manor, reserved strictly for the family's highest echelons and their most inner conflicts.
And today, they had it for themselves alone.
