Inuzuka Clan –

The Inuzuka kennels were in a frenzy. New warhounds were being bred with ferocity and loyalty. Patriarch Inuzuka Arata bowed before Tajima Uchiha.

"The Uchiha offer us war and glory," he howled. "We shall hunt in your name."

Tajima nodded curtly. "And you will be fed. You will be given land after victory."

The Inuzuka knew this was an opportunity—no longer would they be the wild outsiders. Now, they were the war-hounds of a great empire.

Kurama Clan –

Among the Kurama, a young girl named Kana displayed terrifying Genjutsu abilities. Tajima had already marked her.

"Send emissaries with praise. Offer her a seat in our Academy. If she joins us willingly, the clan will follow."

The Kurama were proud but isolated. If even a handful joined the Uchiha, it would be a win.

Far from all known settlements, a black masked figure watched the shifting alliances with great interest.

"Balance is crumbling. Soon, one spark will ignite everything. Soon Mother, very soon"

He turned and vanished into the mist—toward a forgotten temple where a new force stirred.

Deep Within the Senju Compound

Evening winds rustled the canvas flaps of the Senju command tent as Elder Hiraku reviewed the latest scrolls of supplies and troop movements. But his gaze occasionally flicked to the corner of the tent, where the youngest son of Butsuma, Hiroshi Senju, sat quietly scribbling on parchment—too young to be here, yet too intelligent to be excluded. Only three years old, yet his bearing was unlike that of a child. His instincts were sharp, and his eyes bore the weight of two lifetimes.

Hiroshi, formerly known as Liam in another life, folded the scroll in his hands and approached Butsuma.

"Father," he said softly. "The Uzumaki… they are like us. Strong in will, strong in ideals. They possess sealing arts few can comprehend, and their chakra reserves make them formidable allies."

Butsuma rubbed his temples, exhausted from the logistical breakdown after the Takeda loss. "We need strength, but we also need timing, Hiroshi. These are delicate affairs."

"I understand," Hiroshi replied, his voice calm but firm. "But timing is already slipping through our hands. The Uchiha outmaneuvered us at Takeda. If we do not secure the Uzumaki now, we may lose our last upper hand. Hashirama-nii san saved their heiress—Mito. Why not use that bond? Let him build it into something stronger."

Tobirama, standing nearby, raised a brow. "You want to use our brother as a political piece?"

Hiroshi shook his head. "No, Brother. To forge a future where he doesn't have to spill blood for peace. And as for me… I was born with a natural gift for sealing. No one else in the clan has it to this degree. If we bring the Uzumaki closer now, I can learn from them while aiding the war effort with techniques even the Uchiha can't match."

Hashirama had entered silently, listening. "So this whole idea was yours," he said, smiling faintly. "You really are something else, Hiroshi."

Butsuma stared at his youngest son—this strange, mature child—and then slowly nodded. "We'll pursue the alliance officially. You've done more today than most grown men."

Uchiha Compound – Council Fire Circle

Meanwhile, under a dying sun in the shadowy ring of the Uchiha council fires, Tajima Uchiha met with his sons and top strategists.

Madara sat tall and rigid, eyes sharp. "Father, our genjutsu experts have infiltrated the outer ranks of the Senju compound. A few low-ranking guards have been compromised. We know their patrol routes and that they're weakening supply lines again."

Izuna added, "If we subtly rotate genjutsu through different guards, we can keep them blind without arousing suspicion."

Tajima nodded, pleased. But then Arai, the youngest among them—quiet, analytical, and precise—spoke.

"There's still a flaw," Arai said. "Our reconnaissance failed not just because of Senju interference. We had no sensory ninjas capable of detecting distant movement or chakra signatures. If we had scouts with advanced smell or raw combat instinct, we could've anticipated the ambush."

Tajima leaned in. "Go on."

"Inuzuka," Arai said. "Their clan's bond with beasts allows acute sensory perception. And the Kaguya… though unruly, they fight with relentless ferocity. If we integrated both into our scouting parties and assault divisions, we'd compensate for our current weakness."

Madara looked intrigued. "That would create a layered offensive. Precision from us. Detection from Inuzuka. And brute force from Kaguya."

Tajima's lips curled into a calculating smile. "And they're both nearby clans. Mid-Level clans. Desperate for relevance. Perfect. We don't need allies—we need subordinates. Send word."

P.S : Arai and Hiroshi are now 4 years old. They were the masterminds who subtly shifted the power dynamics of the world. Since, they don't know much about the warring era as it was not shown clearly in the show.
