Nathan walked slowly to milan's room. He couldn't understand his feelings for ariadne, he found it difficult to control himself when ariadne was close to him and she smelled like fresh flowers. Her eyes were deep blue, her red curly hair,her beautiful smile.her nice skin was ruined with scars. She was petite and had pink lips.
"She is my wife,I have the right to touch her infact I can't wait for it to happen but ariadne will be hurt I mean I am.not sure about my feelings for her yet, it's milan I love"nathan thought.
"greetings my king".milan said as she opened the door.disrupting his thoughts.
"Greetings my love".Nathan said in suprise as he hugged her, she looked pale and he couldn't tell her the truth.
"My king are you okay".milan asked as she freed herself.
"I am fine".he said calmly.
"You look rather disturbed don't worry ariadne will be fine".she said smiling.
"Milan I am so sorry,you know It's you I love are you okay you look pale".he said.
"I am fine don't worry, it's just body pains". She said.
"Let's go the dining hall".he said while holding her hand.
"Okay my king".She said smiling and they left.
The doctor helped me get ready, gave me medicine, checked the wounds and we were waiting for the king.
"Greetings my queen".lily said as she brought in the tray of food.
"Where is the king".I said,I felt disappointed that it was lily,I was expecting the king.
"The king gave strict orders that I take care of you today".lily said.
"And why is that".I said worriedly.
"My queen I will come to see you later take care of yourself".the doctor said in a bow
"Okay doctor thank you, lily I will eat at the balcony".I said and she left.
"My queen I was very worried when I heard the news.I was so scared but now that I see that you are okay,I am very happy."she said smiling as she placed the tray on the table in balcony.
"Lily I am glad to see you too ".I said faking a smile.deep down I was worried about nathan. She helped me to balcony and I sat down.
"This view is beautiful". lily said smiling as she uncovered the plates.
"Yes it is,I can see the whole kingdom from here".I said smiling.
"Yes my queen, it's a beautiful view".she said smiling.
"Lily I need you to get me apple vinegar, and cherry pine leaves the doctor doesn't know how to do her job properly".I said.
"But My queen".Lily said.
"Lily I don't trust the doctor".I said.
"Fine my queen".Lily said.
"Here comes the king".The spokesman said as nathan and milan entered the dinning hall.
"Greetings My king".they all said as they stood up.
"Greetings everyone".Nathan said as he sat down. they sat down and the food was served. Nathan couldn't eat properly.
"My king you seem worried is everything okay".milan said as she held his hand.
"I am fine milan please eat". Nathan said faking a smile.
"Where is the queen".prince clayford said.
"She is resting upstairs". Nathan said.
"Is that why you are so restless my king". prince Martins said.
"Prince martins what are you driving at". Nathan said while glaring at him.
"My king calm down..."
"don't tell me to calm down you know what am already full".Nathan said angrily and left.
"What's wrong with the king, he gets angry easily these days."Louise said.
"He is just really stressed about the explosion".Milan said.
"Mother you have been rather silent which is unlike you". prince clayford said.
"Clayford I am not in the mood for all of this, all I just want to eat peacefully".lady Isabelle said and they ate quietly.
I had just finished eating when I saw nathan entering a carriage,he looked really disturbed. Something seemed off, he didn't use the royal carriage.
"My queen you should rest now".lily said.
"Yes I am really tired".I said and we went inside.
"My king we are here now". Stephan said as the carriage stopped.
"Okay".Nathan said as he opened his eyes. Stephan came out first and the king followed suit, they hurriedly entered the boutique.
"My king greetings I wasn't expecting you". Lord Simon said in a bow as Stephan locked the door.
"Uncle Simon you shouldn't be so formal with me". Nathan said as he hugged him and stephan excused them.
"I am always disheartened that you always use the backdoor whenever you come to see me".lord simon said as he freed himself.
"Uncle simon I am not complaining am I". Nathan said as he lied down on the mini bed.
"But I am,you are the owner of the boutique you deserve to come through the main door, this boutique is the biggest and most famous across the kingdom".lord simon said smiling as he sat down.
"You praise me too much".nathan said.
"Nathan you look pale and worried".lord Simon said while staring at nathan.
"Uncle have you heard of the red ice poison".nathan said quietly.
"That's a very dangerous poison and it's very rare".lord simon said in surprise.
"I was wondering if you knew the antidote". Nathan said.
"Look nathan the poison is the antidote don't worry you wouldn't understand ,but finding the poison will be difficult hold on, what's going on".lord Simon said.
"Uncle Simon lady Isabelle added two drops of red ice poison in Milan's tea, just so that I can dance to her tune".nathan said worriedly.
"Your mother will never change her ways, Milan's life is in danger,".lord Simon said anxiously.
"Look I need the antidote uncle,I can't watch Milan suffer like that she is already hurting I don't want to add to her pain". Nathan said.
"Nathan finding the poison will take time, what does your mother wants". lord Simon said.
"She wants an heir". Nathan said.
"Congratulations nathan, I am sorry I missed the wedding and the blessing ceremony,I was busy handling things at the boutique."Lord simon said.
"It's not a problem".Nathan said.
"That's very easy nathan get the queen pregnant".Lord simon said.
"I can't".nathan lied.he wanted her so badly deep down.
"Is the queen ugly".lord Simon said.
"No she isn't". Nathan said calmly.

"there is nothing wrong with her,she is beautiful".nathan said defensively.
"Nathan do you love the new queen". Lord Simon said while staring at him.
"No I don't,I mean I respect her and I love milan and stop staring at me like that ".Nathan said while avoiding his gaze.
"Look nathan you seem very confused,I don't know why you can't touch her". Lord Simon said.
"Look you wouldn't understand".nathan said.
"Make me understand".lord Simon said.
"Ariadne is a good person and I don't want get intimate with her on the basis of lady Isabelle's deal it's not right". Nathan said.
"You are right nathan but Milan's life is at risk ".Lord simon said.
"That's why I wanted to get the antidote". Nathan said.
"Look nathan sometimes in life we make tough decisions".lord simon said.
"I need to rest". Nathan said while closing his eyes.
"Okay I will leave after all this room belongs to you, Nathan take care".lord simon said and left.
I was so bored,I waited for Nathan all day. but he didn't come, I was very worried about him and I missed him.
"Greetings my queen".the doctor said as she came in.
"Greetings".I said weakly. the thought of Nathan weighed heavily on my mind.

"I am fine".I said.
"You don't look fine".the doctor said.
"Help me to dinning hall, it's time for dinner". I said.
"But my queen you need take your medicine".she said.
"Look we can do that later,this is more important to me okay".I said,I needed to find out the truth.
"Okay my queen".she said in defeat and we left.
"Here comes the queen".The spokesman said as we entered the dining hall.
"Greetings my queen".they all said, they were eating already.
"Greetings".I said as I sat down.
"My queen you shouldn't be stressing yourself".milan said,she looked so pale.
"Are you fine".I said.
"Yes I am ".she said.
"But you look pale".I said.
"I am fine my queen don't worry".she said smiling.she was so sweet and that's why Nathan loved her.
"Where is the king".I said.
"He went out".milan said.
"When is he coming back".I said.
"No one knows when the king will come out of his hole".prince clayford said mockingly.
"What do you mean by that".I said.
"He has gone back to his shell and it's for the best".prince clayford said faking a smile.
"What did you people do to the king".I said.
"Oh stop it, why blame us for nothing we had a hand in".prince martins said.
"So are you now accusing me".I said.
"Stay within your limits my queen ever since you came here you have ruined everything." Prince martins said angrily.
"Watch your tone, don't talk to me in that manner I don't like it".I said while glaring at all of them. If only I wasn't injured I would have taught them a lesson.
"I am not the king that cares about your feelings, he left because of you and that's a good thing".prince martins said. Lady Isabelle was smiling.something was definitely up.
"Look prince martins I am not interested in arguing with you, lady Isabelle the king left and hasn't returned yet you seem very calm". I said.
"Just shut up ariadne, nathan is not a child and I am not obliged to stop him from going out, stop disturbing and leave".lady Isabelle said. they knew I was helpless in this situation.
"Look ariadne the king is fine you don't have to worry about him".milan said nervously.
"I hope you all choke".I said angrily as I stood up.
"Be careful we wouldn't want something bad to happen to you again".prince clayford said mockingly.
"Thanks for your concern".I said mockingly and we left.
