Arthur was a weak and cowardly boy who lacked the power to protect anyone—a truth brutally demonstrated when his parents were massacred while defending him during a Gate outbreak. As the sole survivor, Arthur spent weeks believing his life was over. When intense chest pains began, he assumed he'd been infected with corruption by the void creature that killed his parents and was merely waiting for death.
What Arthur didn't expect was that these sensations actually signaled his Realm Core forming. In two months' time, he would be forcefully transported to the next realm and awaken new powers, becoming one of the world-renowned "Chosen" who protect humanity from Gate outbreaks. Now Arthur must rise through the heights of power, climbing each of the seven realms in hopes of saving his world... or does he?

A chosen Ranks up each time they enter a new realm. In order to enter a new realm you have to kill enough corrupted monsters to fill your core. Once they do that they will feel a pull in there core to the next realm. If they answer that pull they will get automatically sent to a random spot in the next realm up (usually somewhere close to the world core.) and then they have to find their way to the core of the realm and place a tether on it allowing them to travel back to earth. Every time they fill their core and enter a new realm their core will evolve making them stronger and giving them new abilities.


Different monsters inhabit different realms. For instance in the second realm it is unusual (but not impossible) to see anything over a twisted monster but as they move up the realms the stronger monsters will be more prevalent.


Difference between void monsters and corrupted monsters: Void monsters come from unknown origins and are the epicenter of corruption. They only show their face through gate openings and are also categorized by the same ranking systems as corrupted monsters. But what rank monsters are coming out of a gate depends on the gate category which is on a 1-7 scale. Corrupted monsters are monsters and beings from the seven realms that were infected by corruption and instead of dying had a strong enough will to be turned into a mindless and powerful corrupted monster. These beings only inhibit the realms.


Gates: There are tears in the fabric of reality that allow void creatures to come from the unknown and attack earth. They our harbingers of corruption and will not stop attacking until a gate closes naturally which will take varied time depending on the category gate.
