The next evening, Ethan and Alex reached the restaurant before Elena.
They sat quietly at a corner table, disguised under caps and jackets, watching.
Soon, a group of cheerful young people walked into the café—Elena's school friends. They were chatting and laughing.
"Hey, isn't that the CEO of EC Gaming?" one girl whispered loudly, spotting Ethan.
"Oh my God, he's even more handsome in real life!" another giggled.
"And he has a son? Look how cute that little boy is! I wish I could be his wife... or at least his girlfriend!" another friend said, dreamily.
Alex grinned proudly hearing that. Ethan, however, smirked arrogantly but said nothing.
Just then, Elena entered the café, looking around for her friends.
Ethan quickly disappeared inside the café, pretending he had just arrived separately.
Elena joined her friends at the table, not knowing Ethan and Alex were already there, plotting something.
While Elena was laughing and chatting with her friends, suddenly—
Ethan walked up to their table, cool and confident.
"Hi, I'm Ethan," he said casually, flashing a charming smile.
"I believe we haven't met properly."
Elena's friends gasped.
"You're THE Ethan Knight?! The CEO?!"
Elena's jaw dropped. She had no idea what Ethan was planning.
Before she could say anything, little Alex proudly marched forward.
"I'm Alex!" he announced loudly.
"And he's my Daddy! And—" he pointed at Elena with a wide smile,
"—SHE'S MY MOMMY!"
The entire table fell silent. You could hear a pin drop.
The girls' eyes widened in complete shock.
"WHAT?! Elena is... married... to the CEO?!"
Ethan smiled smugly, putting his hand lightly on Elena's chair.
"And tonight's dinner is on me," Ethan said. "Order whatever you want. Enjoy yourselves."
The girls still couldn't believe it, whispering and stealing glances at Elena and Ethan in amazement.
Elena sat frozen, blushing furiously as Ethan winked at her, completely satisfied with his little surprise.
