"Where…"
Appearing at the strange place where the sky seemed to be divided into two. Up and down. Even what seemed to be the ground below didn't feel like it.
Looking at the girl in front with her back turned to him, he narrowed her eyes at her.
"Yue is my name. I'm sure you've heard about me from Hibiki already."
She paused. Then, she continued.
"To be hung up on me for so long. Haah, what stubbornness. However, I'm glad."
Hibiki's friend said that, turning to him.
"This is where the emotions of other quasi-spirits like me converge. Here, we exist as fragments of our already gone selves."
"Thanks to Hibiki waking me up, I was able to exist in this state. All of it is to talk to you. Tokisaki Ikari-sama."
She then bowed her head.
Ikari's original impression of her was someone like Isami and Hibiki combined.
But seeing her himself made him think she was different from his initial impression.
"You don't need to thank me. I also have a reason for why I want to become Dominion."
Having smiled at him, she then looked at him closely before immediately taking a step back in a yelp.
"Woah, what is that? How are you still even alive after this…?"
Looking down on his astral form. It started from the mid-centre, near his stomach, with spiderwebbed cracks spreading all the way to every corner of his body.
"Who on earth made you like this?"
"Self-harm. I absorbed the inverse of the flame sephirah crystal and took both powers of the spirit that governs time and the inverse that governs space."
Hearing him, the corners of Yue's lips twitched.
As expected of the person Hibiki chose. What great lengths of self-harm did they pursue?
Yet, at the same time, she could tell it was for a reason. And seeing how he spoke to Hibiki even after her friend had confessed everything….
Yue stepped forward, closer to him, her hands forward, to where the source of the cracks appeared.
"Hm. It can't be healed by our powers. Perhaps, if you go beyond this world, there is a chance of getting it healed."
"For real?"
"Yes. Or so we think."
"We?"
"Remember when I said this is where the emotions of other quasi-spirits like me converge? Yes, the others are still here, and most of them are quite knowledgeable."
Ikari hearing that peered open his mouth for a moment in understanding. Before his gaze fell back upon the girl.
Feeling her gaze, the girl Yue raised her head to meet him, tilting her head to the sides for a moment before taking a step to the back.
"You brute. Hibiki and those other girls are not enough; you're also setting your eyes on us. What a greedy person."
Yue joked; then she paused, turning her back to him, looking towards the horizon.
"We are already dead, so there's no use feeling sympathy for us."
She could tell he was feeling a little bit not okay with the way he was staring at her. She nor the others liked it.
"But if you very much insist. Then, use us. Let us help you. You have saved those girls whose fate was to die, no? Then, for us that are dead, let us serve you."
"After now, our lingering attachments would probably be settled, and we'll disappear, but at least we don't want our lives to go to waste. So, if you feel that much for us, then use us as you see fit."
"They would also help delay your breaking down."
Yue said that as his body soon began to glow a golden light. Her time was up, she seemed to say.
It wasn't only her. There were other golden lights that sparkled, slowly ascending to the sky.
He could tell these were quasi-spirit dolls Master had killed and turned into her dolls.
Again, he could feel their thanks to him.
"Haah. So it all ends here, huh? I wish I could also spend more time with that girl. And what's more, I want to see the changes you would bring to the Neighbouring World."
"You see. I'm jealous. Of Hibiki, that is… She gets to be by your side."
She said that, her eyes towards the ground, satisfaction feeling her expression; however, Ikari could see it.
It was slightly forced. Hence. "Alright. However, rather than substituting your lives for my life, I will share it amongst the rest."
"Eh? Is that okay? That thing should help you better, you know?"
"And the power of a hundred will also help me better too."
"You… So, you're that type, huh…? However, I don't hate it. Sure, in that case, pass this to her for me."
She passed a fragment of light to Ikari, who took it, looking at his hands, then on his lips, a smile before nodding.
"Alright, I'll pass it to her."
After saying that, their forms completely disappeared, and what was left was the proof they had all existed. All hundred of them.
Doll Master died.
The tenth region now belonged to another person. The new ruler of the tenth region, Tokisaki Ikari.
Of course, the other Dominions haven't heard of this all directed interest towards him.
Due to the fact he took down the Doll Master and, more so, a male and an inverse who cannot be called an inverse but rather one who has his feet in each of every one of them.
A former human, with the power of a spirit and an inverse. A Irregular. Or in better terms, a singularity.
