Chapter 21 - The Overbearing CEO Ino

Reading the manga didn't leave a deep impression, and the family historical records were rather vague. But when combining the two, it became clear that Kaguya Otsutsuki was unbelievably powerful, her strength existing on a completely different level from that of ordinary ninjas.

Kaguya Otsutsuki gave birth to two sons, later known as the Sage of Six Paths, Hagoromo Otsutsuki, and Hamura Otsutsuki.

One theory suggests that she fell in love with a mortal, married, and had children. Another theory claims that she "accepted the blessings of the people" and self-conceived, directly giving birth to her two sons.

The mainstream view leans toward the latter—that she self-conceived and then gave birth.

This was terrifying. Ino, limited by her perspective, couldn't understand why Kaguya Otsutsuki would have these two sons. Someone who had lived for thousands of years shouldn't feel loneliness, emptiness, or the need for companionship.

According to Ino's understanding, Kaguya Otsutsuki had an overwhelming amount of energy within her—some beneficial, some harmful. To achieve a higher level of existence, she forcibly separated a portion of her authority and extraordinary traits, thus creating her two sons.

To Kaguya Otsutsuki, these two sons were essentially non-recyclable hazardous waste. On a causal level, the mother and sons were naturally opposed.

The Sage of Six Paths and his brother joined forces to seal away their mother. Afterward, Hamura went to the moon, while the Sage of Six Paths, in his old age, split the Ten-Tails to create the Tailed Beasts. He then divided a portion of his authority and extraordinary traits, giving rise to Indra and Asura. These two brothers already had a bit of an Adam and Amon vibe. Tracing back, it's clear that Kaguya Otsutsuki was absurdly powerful.

Ino's initial plan was to lie low during the Infinite Tsukuyomi, but the Yamanaka clan's Mind Body Switch Technique showed her a different possibility. If she could swap into a body with immense combat power, like Captain Ginyu, she wouldn't refuse. Ino casually brushed off the idea, using the opportunity to observe Sasuke's physical and spiritual energy.

The Uchiha clan's bloodline, inherited from Indra, was indeed formidable.

Even though Ino isolated Sasuke's consciousness and separated his spiritual energy, leaving only his physical energy accessible, Sasuke's body still contained a significant amount of Yin Release energy. For the Uchiha clan, spiritual energy was practically ingrained into their very being.

Ino, having taken over Sasuke's body, had no intention of helping him awaken the Sharingan, nor did she know how to do so.

With both spiritual and physical energy mismatched, even if the Sharingan were a plug-and-play ability, the core incompatibility would prevent it from manifesting.

Sasuke kept roaring in frustration. Ino searched for a while but couldn't find any trace of Indra's chakra. Disappointed, she waved her hand and said, "Stop yelling. I'll return your body soon. Your spiritual energy has great potential, but you don't know how to use it yet. Next time, when you've grown stronger, I'll come back to check."

She took a couple of steps in Sasuke's body, feeling the obvious sluggishness—likely due to the low level of her Mind Body Switch Technique.

"Sasuke" raised his right hand and looked in Iruka's direction. According to her plan, shouting "I surrender" would end this friendly sparring match. But just as she raised her hand, the Hiding in Mist Technique completely dissipated, and out of nowhere, seven or eight girls rushed over, with Sakura leading the charge.

"Wow! Sasuke, you're amazing! You totally wrecked Ino-pig! You're so cool!"

"Sasuke, your moves are so cool!"

"Sasuke, I really like you!"

Several girls crowded around "Sasuke," one casually hugging his arm, another grabbing his hand. At one point, three girls were simultaneously holding onto his five fingers.

Ino felt her scalp tingle. What was wrong with these girls? Sakura was the fiercest, like a protective mother hen, aggressively pushing away the flashy bitches beside her. Seeing the situation getting out of hand, Teacher Iruka walked over, intending to end the confrontation. Although he didn't understand the Yamanaka clan's Secret Technique, as a Middle Ninja who had been on the battlefield, his intuition told him something was off. But just as he reached out, Sakura, now in a frenzy, kicked him away. Naruto, with his hands on his head and eyes wide open, glanced at the kicked-away Teacher Iruka, then at "Sasuke" surrounded by the girls, feeling utterly conflicted. Shikamaru, who knew the Yamanaka clan's Secret Technique, covered his face with his hand, wearing an expression that said, "I don't know her."

Ino, squeezed in the middle of the girls, quickly calmed down after the initial panic. What was she afraid of? Even if she did something outrageous, Sasuke would take the blame, right? The thought of him taking the blame immediately boosted her spirits.

The pervasive Yin Release chakra within this body made her somewhat exhilarated.

Sasuke sensed a hint of eagerness in her consciousness and quickly tried to dissuade her, "What are you planning? Aren't you supposed to return my body? You've won this round, but I'll definitely win next time. Hurry up and release this technique."

Ino glanced at him, "Don't rush. You find these girls annoying too, don't you? I'll help you get rid of them once and for all. No need to thank me."

"Huh? This..."

Both Sasuke and Naruto were straight as steel, but the difference was that Naruto was just clueless. Despite often sneaking into the women's bathhouse and knowing the importance of curves, he didn't understand why men liked these things.

Sasuke, on the other hand, was in a different state. He was roughly at the level of "women only slow down my sword drawing." It wasn't that he didn't like them, but he felt he didn't need them.

Ino figured he was also annoyed by these women, so she decided to do him a favor and solve the problem for him. Without hesitation, she pulled Sakura in front of her.

Sakura, who was hugging her arm, was momentarily stunned, unsure why "Sasuke" had suddenly become so proactive.

Ino's eyes sparkled as she spoke in a domineering tone, "Woman, you've successfully caught my attention. Look up at me."

"Huh? Ah! Um, I... I just... just..." Sakura's gaze wandered, her hands fidgeting, her face flushed.

In the spiritual world, Sasuke was going crazy. What was this crazy woman doing?!

"What are you trying to do?! Is this supposed to help me?!"

"Ah! You're going to drive me insane!"

"Calm down, calm down. Didn't you hear these idiots insulting me earlier? I'm just helping you out."

With her high level of Yin Release, Ino suppressed Sasuke's resistance in the spiritual world.

The voice of the "Sasuke" from the outside world was incredibly alluring, his eyes sparkling as he spoke to Sakura: "The Uchiha clan only marries the smartest girls. Let's solve a riddle, shall we? If you get it right, I'll allow you to take the Uchiha surname."

"Huh?!" Steam practically billowed from Sakura's head. Her usually sharp mind was now a complete mess. Was she really about to change her surname? Would her parents object? And wasn't this all moving a bit too fast?

The thought of becoming Uchiha Sakura made her heart feel like it was about to leap out of her chest.
