Chapter 15 - The Raid of the Rocks Pirates

As the Rocks Pirates entered their waters, they were immediately spotted by the patrolling Marines.

When they clearly saw the flag on the pirate ship, they all went on high alert.

The highest-ranking officer at the branch immediately contacted Marine Headquarters, Marineford, using a Den Den Mushi.

They then quickly mobilized all their forces to deal with the sudden attack by the Rocks Pirates.

A total of twenty-six high-spec Marine warships set out.

Seeing the massive Marine fleet approaching, the pirates were visibly excited.

Before Bob could even issue an order his crew couldn't wait any longer.

"Hahaha! This time, I'm going to have a bloody good time!"

"Let this be the first step in my conquest of the seas!"

"My blade is thirsting for blood!"

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

The Marine warships didn't hesitate either, firing cannonballs directly at the Rocks' ship.

In an instant, the sky was filled with a dense barrage of black cannonballs.

But not a single one hit the Rocks' ship.

They were all destroyed mid-air by the crew's commanders.

"Thunder!"

Charlotte Linlin infused her soul into the thunderclouds, manipulating the weather as a massive pillar of lightning descended from the sky.

Several warships immediately lost their combat capability, and the Marines on board were turned to charcoal.

"Slash Wave!"

Shiki, the Golden Lion, wasn't to be outdone. With his two legendary swords, Oto and Kogarashi, he slashed through the air, even splitting the sea in two.

The ships he touched were instantly cut in half.

The other division commanders followed suit, and before long, over twenty warships were completely destroyed.

Behind the commanders, the rest of the pirates cheered wildly, resembling the fanatical fans of idols from a past life.

Throughout this, Bob remained on the sidelines, not because he didn't want to act, but because compared to the wide-range skills of the other commanders, his close-combat abilities seemed a bit underwhelming.

After clearing all the surrounding ships and artillery, the Rocks' ship docked, and the crew swarmed ashore.

Rocks led the way, followed by the various division commanders, with Bob and Whitebeard walking side by side.

Behind them were the remaining crew members.

On the other side, the Marines had already formed their battle formation.

At the forefront were four Marine Vice Admirals, two of whom had already been lost in the earlier sea battle.

Behind them were eight Rear Admirals, four of whom had also been lost in the previous clash.

And so it began.

Bob's first direct confrontation with the Marines in this world.

And the declaration of war by the Rocks Pirates against the Marines.

"Men! Let these so-called 'justice' Marines see the true power of the Rocks Pirates!"

Rocks cracked his knuckles and shrugged his shoulders.

With that, he unleashed his Conqueror's Haki.

Instantly, an overwhelming aura burst forth.

At the same time, among the division commanders, others who possessed Conqueror's Haki immediately activated theirs.

In that moment.

Rocks, Edward, Shiki, Charlotte Linlin, and Bob—five different Conqueror's Haki auras swept across the battlefield.

This Haki, which only one in a million could possess.

Was held by as many as a handful of individuals within the Rocks Pirates.

The different Conqueror's Haki auras were like stones thrown into water.

Ripples spread outward from the center, wildly impacting and destroying everything in their path.

The immense pressure was like a boulder, suffocating the Marines.

In an instant.

A large number of Marines collapsed, foaming at the mouth and their eyes rolling back.

The vice admirals at the front were also struggling. None of them had awakened the Conqueror's Haki.

They were all desperately exerting their strength to resist, but they were drenched in sweat.

From their expressions, it was clear they were not having an easy time.

"Men! Our grand event has begun!"

Rocks pointed his long sword forward, and the pirates behind him charged ahead with cheers.

The two sides immediately clashed.

The screams of the Marines and the wild cries of the pirates were incessant.

The scene was a bloody mess, with limbs scattered everywhere.

This time, Bob didn't hold back. He found a vice admiral on the opposing side.

It was a tall, middle-aged man wielding a large machete.

With a flash, Bob's foot stomped a large crater into the ground, sending dirt and rocks flying.

At an incredible speed, Bob appeared at the vice admiral's side in the blink of an eye.

With a powerful punch, he aimed directly for the vice admiral's side.

Seeing this, the vice admiral quickly blocked with his large machete.

A loud clang rang out.

The tremendous force of the impact numbed the vice admiral's hand, and the machete was sent flying.

A terrifying fist-shaped dent was clearly visible on the blade.

The punch, still full of force, struck the vice admiral's side.

With just one punch from Bob, the vice admiral was sent flying dozens of meters, only stopping when he crashed into a rock.

He was already lifeless.

At the same time, on the other side of the battlefield, the other vice admirals and rear admirals were being dealt with by the commanders.

The vice admirals from the branch were no match for them.

This battle was a one-sided massacre by the Rocks Pirates; the marine branch didn't even have a chance to fight back.

"They're all monsters! It's terrifying!"

"Run! Report to the Marine Headquarters!"

In this surprise attack, six vice admirals, twelve rear admirals, and sixteen warships from the marine branch were completely annihilated.

Except for a few escaping marine soldiers, it could be said they were utterly defeated.

After the battle, it was time to search for spoils.

The pirates scoured the island for wealth, with the most gathering at the branch's headquarters.

After all, the rules of the Rocks Pirates stated that the first to discover the treasure had the right of first choice.

Bob, of course, joined in.

However, he wasn't very interested in the so-called treasures.

He was more intrigued by the Devil Fruits, even though he might not eat one himself.

He still wanted to see one with his own eyes.

But during Bob's aimless search, some pirates were always squabbling nearby.

"Damn it, I found this first!"

"I saw it first! What proof do you have that it's yours?"

"Damn it, are you looking for a fight?"

The first speaker drew the sword at his waist and slashed at the other.

The other immediately fought back, not backing down.

The two immediately clashed, each strike deadly, leaving no room for mercy.

One moment they were comrades fighting side by side, the next they were enemies trying to kill each other over treasure.

Of course, Bob wouldn't intervene.

Life and death are fated, and wealth is determined by heaven. Such things were all too common in the Rocks Pirates.

Even in the world of pirates, if you couldn't keep up with the strong, you were destined to be abandoned.
