"Daemon I.."
"Do you want me to carry you"he asked and the princess shook her head
"Come here"
"I will be right after you"Lunar said but her husband was no fool.he walked towards her and picked her up like she was a little doll
"No daemon, put me down..hey"she beat at his back with her fist but it did nothing to her husband.he carried her past the living room where the whole family was gathered and passed the courtyard and then went down the cellar.
Lunar whined until she got exhausted and then she kept quiet.

"I need you to place your foot in this bowl"daemon instructed.there was a huge bowl of hot water that probably just left the cauldron and was placed in the wide bowl.the water was steaming hot cuz the vapour alone was already suffocating the room.
"Are you insane?!,I mean sorry I said that but the water is hot"lunar blurted.
"Do it"
"No.. it's going to peel my skin"she complained and daemon shot her a cold look.
"It's our tradition.. it's for protection "

"Mother did you notice something strange about your son?"samonica leaned and whispered into the Queen's ears.she was the wife of the Queen's second son.
"What?!"
"Did you notice he's a bit attached to his New wife "sam said
"I guess "the queen shrugged
"Don't you see it,mother?he spared her life during the consummation and still took the pain to come out of his chambers and fetch her himself for the branding ceremony.. isn't that a little unusual"
"I don't know Sam but whatever happens,as long as it makes him happy I don't mind"
"But mother..!"Sam tried to protest
"Samonica,if daemon is interested in his new wife like you observed..I think it's for the best..cuz then I can rest assured that a heir is on the way"the queen said and when Sam tried to speak,she silenced her with just one look
"Am done having this conversation,try and make yourself useful to your husband"

"Does it still hurt"daemon asked his little wife.her eyes were puffy from sobbing and she looked pale.the pain was excruciating he could tell cuz after making her soak her feet in the hot water..he branded her soft skin with the Phoenix stone.
"Am sorry"he couldn't believe he was actually saying sorry to someone..and it was someone he just met a week ago.
"Are you"lunar whimpered and he nodded "then get away from me you monster"
"Hold on..am being nice here"he retorted.
"I said leave..I don't wanna see your cute face anymore"she sobbed like a child and daemon chuckled.
"did you just call me cute"
"Go away..bad boy"this time,she wasn't crying.she was actually blushing.
"You think am a bad boy? really"he grinned and pinched her nose and she cried out.
"Jokes aside am really sorry"he confessed and looking into his eyes,lunar noticed it was a bit grey no more lifeless.
