Yuma hadn't left his shop for a while. He only saw Grandpa Tang occasionally during mealtimes, and he hadn't even shown his face to anyone else.
Besides researching the Hollowfication skill, Yuma spent the rest of his time looking for lone Espada to fight, in order to improve his spiritual pressure.
The Hollowfied state could last for three hours, but it required a continuous supply of his spiritual pressure to support it.
It would be fine in normal circumstances. With his current strength, it wouldn't be a problem to maintain it for that long, but it was different during combat.
On the one hand, he needed to use a lot of spiritual pressure to fight, and on the other hand, he had to maintain the Hollow mask. This meant that his spiritual pressure was insufficient.
Yuma had tested it. If he fought at high intensity while Hollowfied, going all out, he could only maintain it for about 10 minutes before his spiritual pressure was exhausted.
If he couldn't defeat his enemy in one burst, he would be defenseless.
After several days of training, Yuma had successfully extended the Hollowfication time to 30 minutes, and it was still slowly increasing. He could barely handle most battles.
"Yuma, your shop has been renovated," Grandpa Tang said when he came to deliver Yuma's meal that day. "I've checked the shop. Except for the things that were too badly damaged to repair, they've fixed everything else. The shop is basically the same as before."
"It seems they're quite efficient," Yuma nodded. "I'll go take a look later and deal with Torede."
"It's different from last time. Torede has a lot of people this time. Are you sure you're okay?" Grandpa Tang was worried. Even with strong individual abilities, it would be difficult to face over a hundred armed men.
"Dealing with Torede isn't a big problem," Yuma frowned. "I'm worried that after I deal with Torede, Kingpin might send someone else."
"Torede is bad, but after all, he grew up in Flushing and wouldn't be too cruel to the people here."
"If someone else comes, I'm worried that they won't be as gentle as Torede. After all, I can't stay in Chinatown forever."
Grandpa Tang thought for a moment and agreed with Yuma. Over the years, although Torede had been involved in gangs and done a lot of bad things, he had mainly used intimidation and threats against the people of Flushing and Chinatown.
He didn't seem to have done anything cruel, except for the gang fire, of course.
Grandpa Tang remained silent for a moment before asking, "So, are we just going to let him be?"
"Of course not," Yuma refused. "We have to deal with him, but we can only eliminate his subordinates. We have to let Torede himself go. That way, there won't be any major trouble."
Grandpa Tang nodded. There was nothing else they could do for now.
After finishing his meal, Yuma didn't stay long. He went straight back to his shop.
Besides some photos of his parents in this world, there wasn't anything valuable in the shop.
He went back to check. The photos were still there, and Yuma was relieved. As for the Reishi tools, he could just make some more later.
…
Yuma didn't go anywhere that afternoon. He stayed in the shop making Reishi tools. After all, he had to eat.
As for dealing with Torede, he would definitely have to wait until night. It was easier to do things when it was dark.
He didn't know when the compensation would arrive. Looking at the pitiful balance in his bank account, Yuma muttered to himself, these guys are never fast when it comes to money.
"Ding-dong!"
"We're not open today. Please come back another day."
Yuma was sealing Kidō into his tools. He said this without looking up, hearing someone open the door.
The handicrafts and Reishi tools were basically all destroyed. Only some incomplete ones remained on the shelves. They couldn't be sold.
"You said this is the place? I don't see anything magical here. Oh, these broken handicrafts are pretty magical."
Yuma heard a familiar voice and quickly put down his work and looked towards the front.
"Iron Man, Tony Stark, Pepper Potts, driver and bodyguard, Happy Hogan!"
It was them!
Yuma was excited. He didn't expect to meet Iron Man here.
The man who "with mortal flesh, stands shoulder to shoulder with the gods!"
This was Yuma's favorite superhero in Marvel.
"This is a waste of time. You know, two hours is enough for me to do an interview with the New York Times." Tony Stark was complaining to Pepper Potts, venting his dissatisfaction.
"I don't think you want to do an interview with the New York Times. I think you want to do an interview with reporter Melissa," Pepper Potts said mockingly.
"No, it should be an exclusive interview," Tony raised a finger. "One-on-one."
"Uh, what would you like to buy?" Seeing Pepper Potts about to get angry, Yuma quickly interrupted.
"Magic, we want to buy magic," Tony turned his head and looked at Yuma seriously. "Do you have any of those hats that can conjure pigeons and rabbits, or decks of cards that can transform into handkerchiefs?"
Yuma: "???"
Are you sure you're talking about magic, not magic tricks?
"Enough, Tony, don't cause trouble," Pepper Potts stopped Tony and then turned to Yuma apologetically. "He was just joking. Actually, we want to buy some handicrafts, the kind with magical abilities."
Yuma waved his hand, indicating that he didn't mind, and said to Pepper Potts, "The ones on the shelves are damaged. I have some new ones I just made. You can take a look if you want."
Yuma took out the handicrafts he had just made and placed them on the table.
"This is good. I like this one," Tony pointed at the handicrafts on the table and said to Happy.
Yuma heard Tony's words and thought to himself, as expected of Iron Man, his taste is impeccable!
After exclaiming, Tony immediately walked up to Yuma and said, "Boss, how much do you sell your pets for? I'll buy them!"
"Pets? What pets?" Yuma was puzzled.
"Aren't these your pets' handiwork?" Tony pointed at the handicrafts on the table. "Don't tell me these were made by people. I really can't imagine what kind of person would make such ugly handicrafts. No, these can't even be considered handicrafts!"
Damn it!
Yuma instantly felt a surge of anger rushing to his head.
If it weren't for Pepper Potts quickly stepping forward to apologize and stop Yuma, he would have almost made Marvel lose Iron Man as a superhero.
"Sorry, he's not very good at talking. Just treat him like air," Pepper Potts quickly reassured Yuma. "How much are these handicrafts? I want to buy them all."
Not good at talking? Yuma thought to himself. Do you even hear what he's saying?
"These seven are cheaper, ten dollars each," Yuma pointed at the seven ordinary handicrafts and then pointed at the five Reishi tools. "These five…"
"Even cheaper!" Tony interrupted.
Yuma didn't say anything. He turned around and went to the kitchen to get a knife…
