"What?! Huh?!" Aelius exclaimed.
His eyes darting around and his heart pounding in his chest.
'What the hell was that?!' Aelius thought.
Since he has no idea what kind of reaction his ancestors lightsaber just had to him.
"Wait, calm down. Just calm down." Aelius told himself.
Working to get himself under control.
So he can figure out what just happened.
But as he did this Aelius suddenly noticed he wasn't standing but sitting down in a chair.
Not only that but he was in someone's room.
Not the hall where he was with masters Yoda, Yaddle, and Nu.
"Did they move me after my experience?" Aelius muttered.
"No. Because you're still having it." A female voice suddenly replied.
When it did Aelius immediately turned his gaze in the voices direction.
When he did he found himself staring at an elderly woman dressed in the robes of a Jedi.
One that looked extremely familiar to him.
So much so it only took Aelius a minute to remember her identity.
Which shocked him to his very core.
"N...Nomi. You're Nomi Sunrider, right?" Aelius asked.
Only for the woman to smile and give a brief nod. "Why yes my little descendant, I am." The woman replied.
Revealing herself to in fact be the legendary Jedi Grand Master Nomi Sunrider.
"But, but you're-"
"-Dead." Nomi spoke, finishing Aelius sentence. "Why yes. In the natural sense I am. But as you should know my young descendant for those of us with a powerful connection to the Force death is more of a concept than an absolute."
"I do. It just. This is a lot." Aelius said.
"No, it's alright. I understand." Nomi replied. "And if I were in your current situation I too would be utterly confused."
"Right. On that note do you mind explaining exactly what is happening here?" Aelius asked. "Because the last thing I remember is trying to use the Force to connect to your lightsaber to confirm we are related and then everything exploded in white."
"Which is because you did manage to connect to my lightsaber through the Force. Which are only capable by those of my bloodline." Nomi revealed.
Telling Aelius he was indeed in fact a member of the Sunrider family.
Putting that doubt in his mind to rest.
"I see." Aelius replied. "Okay, but wait. That still doesn't explain what is happening right at this moment." He mused.
"Oh, to put simply once it was confirmed you were indeed a member of my family by connecting with my lightsaber through the Force it activated a hidden message I stored in that sabers kyber crystal. So that is how we are meeting right now." Nomi explained.
"I see" Aelius replied. "And hold on, something like that is possible?" He asked.
"Oh, young Aelius when it comes to the Force you can't possibly imagine all it is capable of. But that's alright because your still growing. Though enough about that let's get down to business." Nomi said. "This is a simple message. Once you obtain the rank of Jedi Knight head for Exis Station in the Outer Rim. There I have stored several "gifts" for you that will side you with your future plans. Which if you must know I am proud of you for making."
"You are?" Aelius questioned. "Wait, how do you even know about my plans?" He asked.
For he had never told another soul yet.
"You see during my younger years one night I received several Force visions of the future." Nomi revealed. A serious expression now on her face. "And after I got them I knew what I had to do." She spoke.
"What do you-" Aelius began to ask.
Only to stop when Nomi grasped both of his hands, and when she did visions flashed through his mind.
Hundreds of world's burning.
A galaxy in flames.
An older version of himself, wearing some sort of battle armor, standing on the bridge of a ship that was engaged in a massive space battle.
Another image of himself sharing kisses with not one but two women, though he couldn't make our their faces.
Another image of his older self leading an army of armored Jedi on a battlefield.
Darkness.
Then vile laughter.
It was then the visions stopped.
When they did Aelius leaned back in his chair, a now grim expression on his face. "So that is...that is my future?" He asked.
"It looks to be so." Nomi replied. "But never forget Aelius, the future is always in motion."
"Yeah." He replied. "But if all I just saw does come to pass then...I...can I handle it?" Aelius spoke.
Feeling apprehension and doubt for the first time since his awakening on the raider ship.
Of course Aelius knew things weren't going to be fun and games.
He knew blood would be shed no matter what.
But actually seeing it for real just made the weight of what he wanted to accomplish even heavier.
"Can I do it?" Aelius asked him.
Contemplating his path.
Then as he did he suddenly found himself embraced by a gentle hug from Nomi.
"Shh, it's okay." She said. "I understand. I really do. When I was faced with similar things during my lifetime I took had doubts. But I realized doubts are simply a apart of the process of moving forward. If you didn't have them I might be worired." She explained.
"Thanks." Aelius replied.
Then before he knew he it he was returning the hug of his many times great grandmother.
The two finding themselves in a tender moment.
Until eventually they broke apart.
"Feel better now?" Nomi asked.
Aelius nodded. "Yeah. I do. Thank you Nomi. Truly. So about those "gifts" you left for me?"
"I'm sorry but I am not allowed to tell you about them. And once more you won't be able to access them until you obtain the rank of Jedi Knight or above. Try and you'll get nothing in return." Nomi quickly explained.
"Understood." Aelius replied.
Though that didn't mean he wasn't curious about what Nomi left for him on Exis Station.
Meaning he needs to step up his training to obtain the rank of Knight faster.
So he can get to them before things in the galaxy go go shit.
Especially given what he just saw in those Force visions Nomi shared with him.
'Wait. Force visions.' Aelius thought.
Suddenly realizing the Force itself had prepared for his appearance.
When he did he couldn't help but get a shocked expression on his face.
Nomi smiling like a Cheshire cat upon seeing it.
Noticing this Aelius moved to speak.
Only for Nomi to beat him too it.
"Well its been fun my descendant but our time is up. So goodbye and good luck. And may the Force be with you. Until we meet again." She said.
Then Aelius saw nothing but white once more.
