Chapter 13 - chapter 13

Devro couldn't wait to start practicing the moment he saw the introduction.

After all, this was a method to enhance his magical power!

Ever since the previous battle with Snape, he had clearly felt it:

As a minor, his magical intensity and reserves were significantly inferior to those of adult wizards.

This realization made him feel insecure.

Later on, in what was known as the safest school in all of Britain,

he'd have to face things like Basilisks or tear apart dragons from time to time.

If he ran out of mana halfway through a fight, he'd be done for!

But now, this Zen meditation technique could be the perfect solution to that problem.

Devro immediately boarded the train, eager to find a quiet place to test the wisdom of the sages

and see how effective the method really was.

However—

Many carriages were already full.

The train was bustling and noisy,

which clearly didn't meet the quiet, undisturbed environment required for proper meditation.

He ran through carriage after carriage.

But everywhere was the same.

Eventually, he had to set the idea aside—at least for now.

There was no rush.

Instead, Devro decided to look for a quieter carriage with fewer people,

somewhere to rest during the long journey.

As luck would have it—

He saw two red-haired boys struggling to help another boy with a heavy trunk.

Yes—it was Harry Potter!

And the ones helping him were the Weasley twins.

Seeing them straining, Devro stepped forward.

"Hey! Wait a second, this should help," he said.

He took out his wand and tapped Harry's trunk lightly.

Instantly, the burden that had weighed so heavily on them moments ago

felt several times lighter.

Even Harry, the smallest among them, could now easily lift it.

Together, the three boys managed to place the trunk on the luggage rack.

"Oh my god! Is that the Levitation Charm?"

"Awesome! You must be a first-year, but you use spells so skillfully!"

The Weasley twins stared at Devro in amazement.

Other nearby students also looked stunned.

Although the Levitation Charm was a basic spell,

many first-years still couldn't perform it perfectly—even by the end of their exams.

Wait—a spell?

The twins glanced at each other in sudden realization.

"You just used a silent spell, didn't you?" they exclaimed.

Devro smiled modestly.

"Yes, it's just the simplest spell."

For a moment, the twins were speechless—just gesturing at each other.

Then they gathered around him eagerly.

"Wow, Merlin's beard! If we could learn silent spells, the stuff we could pull off!"

"Yeah, yeah! Oh—uh, we haven't introduced ourselves! I'm Fred, he's George.

If you're willing, could you teach us?"

Fred leaned in closer and whispered mysteriously,

"It's not for nothing—when we get to school, we'll tell you tons of secrets!

Even though we didn't get to the tower last year, we basically know all the secrets of the Great Hall!"

"Yeah! You won't find a third person in the whole school who knows as much as we do!"

The twins bumped fists with each other, their eyes gleaming with mischief.

Devro's eyes rolled slightly, and he smiled.

"Sure, but you've got to show me some of those secrets first. Then I'll teach you."

After all, for Devro,

silent spells were as simple as taking a glance.

Getting these two notorious pranksters to show him the ins and outs of Hogwarts

might even lead to treasures like the Marauder's Map someday.

Why not?

"Wuhu!"

The twins cheered and immediately huddled together, whispering,

already plotting how to use silent spells for future pranks.

Devro then turned to Harry, who looked a bit lost.

Obviously, all this talk about magic, silent spells, and Hogwarts secrets

was completely unfamiliar to him.

He hadn't even gotten a word in and looked understandably awkward.

Devro stepped up and gently placed an arm around his shoulders.

"Come on, Harry. Let's go find a seat first."

Harry had been standing there in a daze,

but when Devro said that, he quickly nodded.

The train was about to depart, after all.

He turned, intending to return to the carriage they had been in earlier.

"Harry? Could it be… that Harry?"

Hearing Devro say Harry's name,

the twins abruptly stopped whispering.

Harry had obviously encountered situations like this many times before.

He casually brushed aside his fringe, revealing the lightning-shaped scar on his forehead.

The twins were momentarily stunned.

Devro also saw the famous scar for the first time—

It looked a bit more fierce in real life than it had in the movies back in his previous life.

He even felt an odd urge to reach out and touch it.

But he held himself back, mindful of Harry's feelings.

In truth, Devro had always been curious:

Why did the Avada Kedavra curse leave a lightning-shaped scar?

It wasn't something the original books ever really explained.

After the big reveal, the twins suddenly bolted from the carriage,

shouting as they went—clearly excited to share the news with their family.

Devro watched them disappear down the corridor,

then sat down in the carriage with Harry.

He had just added two purple entries from each of the twins into his "entry shopping cart,"

planning to load them once they reached Hogwarts and take a better look.

The entries were:

[Explorer (Purple)]

[Prank Inventor (Purple)]

It had to be said—these were good entries.

In general, a purple entry meant someone could become extremely successful in that domain.

A blue entry showed potential to be above average,

while a gold one meant the person was a born leader in that area.

And red entries?

They signified someone with overwhelming luck—almost as if they were favored by fate itself.

For example, the Magic Potion Spirit Body entry was ridiculously overpowered.

Even though Devro's foundation was still weak,

he suspected that, in terms of potion brewing alone,

he might actually surpass Snape someday.

Of course, that was just a hunch—he hadn't tested it yet, and didn't dare to.

Still, the Weasley twins were clearly talented.

No wonder they became industry leaders in prank inventions at such a young age.

"Devro, you actually know so many spells!"

Harry said with a hint of frustration, sitting across from him now.

"Sigh… I grew up in a Muggle family.

I don't really know any magic.

If there's some kind of test at the start of term, I'm doomed."

Devro smiled at his words, about to offer some encouragement—

When the carriage door was suddenly knocked.

A red-haired boy with freckles peeked inside.

"Excuse me, can I sit here?

My name's Ron Weasley."
