"Yumeko. I have a gift for you. I want you to meet someone. She will keep you company while I'm gone so you wouldn't be lonely."
A beautiful woman with long black hair talked to Yumeko. Behind her was a little kid with a dirty face. Little Yumeko peeked at her curiously.
"She has no family so from now on, she will be our sister. I want you to take care of her alright?"
"Ow-kay." Yumeko said cutely.
Her little hands reached out to the shy kid behind her big sister.

"Tada!" Yumeko drew a mark in the kid's hands. She smiled happily at her artwork. "I will call you (Y/n) from now on. See. That's your name. I'll introduce you to the family today. I hope they like you because I like you very much."
"Yumeko." Her sister called. "We're going now. Are you two ready?"
"Yeeees. We're coming."

Little children gathered around Yumeko. They were curious about the kid she brought.
"Isn't she cute? She's my sister."
"Ooooh. So it's possible to grow a sister out of thin air?"
"You're really stupid. They picked her up somewhere. Probably in a trash can."
"You're so rude!"
"Let me see, let me see."
"So she will be your servant right?"
"Just like Rei."
The children laughed.
Kirari poked the kid's cheeks repeatedly. "I want one too."
"You have Ririka."
"Ririka's my sister. This one's different. Hey Yumeko. Let's gamble for her."
"No way!" Yumeko puffed her cheeks.
The kid lifted her hand and poked Kirari's cheeks too.
"See! She likes me!" Kirari beamed. "Let me have her instead!"
"You can play with her too but you can't take her. Big sister asked me to take care of her so she's my responsibility."
"Fine. I'll go first then." Kirari pulled the child away from the others and ran to her room.
"Hey, no fair!"
"Kirari's always like that."
"She'll get tired of her soon."

Blood covered Yumeko's face. Her wide eyes stared at the kid lying at the road.
"Yu....me...ko." You called out.
Sirens rang everywhere. It was so noisy but Yumeko can't hear anything.
"Where are you taking her? Don't touch her.. don't touch her!!!"

A girl sat on a hospital bed. Her head was bandaged.
"Why doesn't she remember me?" Yumeko asked.
She was peeking from the door. Her sister wouldn't let her in.
"She was traumatized, Yumeko. It was a bad thing that happened to her. Don't you think it was better that she forgot? She'd live a happier life that way."
"But I don't want her to forget me."
"We have to let her go, Yumeko. She has to live on her own now. It was wrong of me to mix her in this family."
"But why?"
"Because she can't be alive. Those people that did that to her will not stop. They will always try to hurt her."
"Can I still see her? I'll just take a peek from afar."
"Sure you can."
"I'll still watch over her. Because I like her very much."

"This is your new classmate."
"My name is Jabami Yumeko. Nice to meet you."
"You can sit there." the teacher pointed at an available seat.
Yumeko's eyes wandered around the classroom until she saw you.
Found you. She thought.

Yumeko observed you for a few days. She noticed you didn't have any friends. You were always alone. And you always disappear once class ends.
Where have you been going? I haven't had the time to follow you all day with all these gambling around me. They call out to me. The thrills. Ahh.
Yumeko participated in lots of gambling with Ryota as her tour guide. He knows a lot despite looking like an idiot. Through the days, she befriended Saotome Mary too.
"Do you know who that is, Suzui?" Yumeko pointed at you.
"Ah. That's (Y/n). She's quite a loner. I never saw her gamble but she's smart. Rumors say that she lost her parents in a car accident and that she's the only survivor. So now she lived alone and is not very wealthy. She was only able to attend the academy through scholarship just like Mary. Oh speaking of Mary, (Y/n) used to be her pet. She would always choose (Y/n) to run errands for her. Actually she's the only one Mary treated like that before me."
"Hey Suzui. I'm right here. Don't talk bad about me." Mary glared at him.
"Do you like her Mary?" Yumeko asked out of the blue.
"What!? Where is this coming from?"
"I'd love it if you do. I want everyone to like her."
"Huh? Do you know her?"
"Hm. We will now." Yumeko dragged Mary towards your seat.
"Ah wait. Yumeko." Suzui whined.

Yumeko and Kirari sat face to face.
"So you recognized her too?"
"Of course. Who do you think gave her that scholarship?"
"Do you think it was better for her to swim with the sharks?"
"No. It's better to hide her under my care. One lost fish in a full aquarium will be hard to spot."
"Well I'm here now so you don't have to do that."
"I'm responsible for what happened. Let me pay for it."
"It was me that failed to take care of her. Leave this matter to me."
"Yumeko. I found her first. So I won't give her back."
"Oh? Is that a challenge?"
They looked at each other and laughed.

Yumeko walked around school to look for you. Until she saw you with Sayaka.
"What happened?" Yumeko asked.
"I don't know. But she looked like she was drugged."
"Yumeko? What are you doing here?"
"I'm just looking for my friends."
"Take her to my office."
Kirari. What have you been doing while I wasn't watching? I was too distracted with the gambling I failed to see.

"Kirari. I suggest you don't mess with a Jabami." then Yumeko left.
I could take her from you. But she won't leave you. I know she liked you very much when we were kids. And now she called out to you everytime she wasn't thinking straight. Maybe deep inside her, she recognized you. She just wouldn't admit. I'm kind of jealous. I'll keep on watching for now. Don't use her Kirari.
