Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

Akira could clearly feel the changes surging through his body, and it wasn't just the wounds that had healed.

After absorbing Uchiha Kawa, all of Akira's abilities were adapting to the new form, awakening power that had been dormant. Among them—Kawa's Mangekyō Sharingan.

Kawa's eyes hadn't merely been transplanted—they had fused directly into Akira's. As a result, Akira now possessed two distinct Mangekyō Sharingan, which he could alternate between at will. This revelation thrilled him.

As any diehard Naruto fan would know, when two blood relatives awaken the Mangekyō Sharingan, and one transplants the other's eyes, the fusion can give birth to a higher evolution: the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.

Akira, who had watched Naruto countless times, was intimately familiar with the process of upgrading a standard Mangekyō. Though he hadn't gone blind like Sasuke or Madara, nor performed a conventional eye transplant, he now possessed the Mangekyō of two blood-related Uchiha.

That meant he met all the criteria for awakening the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.

Because of this, Akira didn't regret using the rare Amorphous Rebirth Eye Technique to absorb Kawa's eyes. He believed that once his Eternal Mangekyō awakened, even the technique's long cooldown could be drastically reduced—or reset entirely.

In the canon, Sasuke had to spend time adapting to Itachi's eyes before unlocking the Eternal Mangekyō. But Akira had bypassed that phase entirely. The fusion triggered by Amorphous Rebirth merged the two ocular powers instantly, eliminating the usual adaptation period.

Sure enough, once Kawa's Mangekyō had fully restored themselves within Akira, a strange sensation emerged.

If there had been a mirror, he would've seen his crimson Sharingan flickering between two windmill patterns—distinct, yet increasingly synchronized—as they spun around his pupils.

Akira recognized it immediately: the prelude to the awakening of the Eternal Mangekyō.

The rate of alternation between the two Mangekyō patterns accelerated, and the spinning became so fast it blurred into one. The fusion was reaching its climax.

He couldn't see the transformation, but he could feel it. The sensation in his eyes was familiar, reminiscent of his initial Mangekyō awakening—only far more intense.

His eyes pulsed, throbbing like hearts. A mix of soreness and pressure mounted.

Then, he felt something trickle from the corners of his eyes. Reaching up, he wiped away two thin lines of blood.

He wasn't afraid. Blood tears were a known phenomenon tied to Mangekyō evolution.

As the pain reached its peak, Akira closed his eyes tightly. When it finally subsided, he opened them—and saw clearly.

The windmill pattern slowed, stabilizing. His Mangekyō, while retaining its original form, had evolved, incorporating elements from Kawa's design. The result was a more intricate, beautiful Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.

"So, it's complete," Akira whispered, exhaling with relief.

"This power... it's nothing like before."

Unlike the standard Mangekyō, which brought searing pain just from activation and drained chakra heavily during use, the Eternal Mangekyō felt effortless. There was no pain—even with the eye fully activated.

Previously, using his eye techniques had nearly caused him to black out. But now, his vision felt clear, powerful.

More astonishingly, the Eternal Eyes seemed to replenish his chakra rather than deplete it. A flow of energy surged from his eyes into his body, enhancing him further.

"No wonder Itachi deteriorated so quickly... The Mangekyō burden is immense without evolution."

Akira grinned.

"But the Eternal Eye... it strengthens both body and spirit. It's a true game changer."

More good news followed. His once 15-year cooldown Amorphous Rebirth technique could now be used every 5 years. While still a long wait, the improvement was significant—and satisfying.

Moreover, due to the Eternal Eye's awakening, the cooldown was instantly reset, making the technique ready for use again.

He was euphoric.

Akira speculated that if he could obtain the First Hokage's cells, the cooldown might shorten even further.

After all, in the original series, Danzo had used Shisui's eye technique, Kotoamatsukami, again shortly after its use—thanks to Hashirama cells.

Even Kakashi, a non-Uchiha, suffered from Sharingan strain. Danzo had successfully used eleven Sharingan—including a Mangekyō—freely, due to Hashirama's regenerative cells.

Obito, too, operated his Mangekyō more easily thanks to being fused with White Zetsu—also derived from Hashirama's genetic material.

In truth, the Hashirama cells might be even more effective than the Eternal Eye in some respects.

Akira clenched his fists. "Once I have those cells, even the Rinnegan may be within my grasp."

Then, something unexpected happened.

Akira's eyes twitched. A ripple passed through them.

His eyes hadn't just fused—Kawa's Mangekyō still existed within.

He could switch between his own and Kawa's ocular patterns just as before.

The Eternal Eye hadn't erased the past.

It had preserved everything—and added more.

Akira chuckled.

The future was wide open—and the power of the Uchiha flowed more strongly in him than ever.

Although Akira was initially surprised by the phenomenon, after carefully thinking it through, he found it quite reasonable.

When Sasuke transplanted Itachi's Mangekyō Sharingan, he didn't inherit Itachi's Tsukuyomi. Instead, he retained his own Amaterasu and Blaze Release: Kagutsuchi. This was different from Kakashi and Danzo, who could use the original owner's Mangekyō techniques after transplantation.

This suggests that the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan uses the user's own dōjutsu and pupil power, rather than the abilities of the transplanted eye. The fusion of pupil power seems to discard the original dōjutsu within the transplanted eye.

Perhaps this is because a pair of eyes cannot contain four distinct abilities. Thus, only two dōjutsu can be retained, and Sasuke likely chose to preserve his own.

More plausibly, a transplanted eye's abilities can't fully resonate with the user. The foreign eye merely acts as a catalyst for unlocking new power, while its original techniques are overwritten during the fusion process.

Regardless of the true reason, Sasuke only had one pair of Mangekyō Sharingan to begin with, while Akira, after absorbing Hua's power, possessed two pairs. Remarkably, the Mangekyō Sharingan Akira absorbed were indistinguishable from his own and could coexist within his eyes—an unprecedented feat. This miracle could only be attributed to the power of Yin-Yang Release: Shapeless Reincarnation.

Furthermore, both of Akira's Mangekyō Sharingan were freshly awakened, preserving their full pupil power without any disparity between them. Therefore, it wasn't surprising that Akira could retain the abilities of both pairs upon achieving the Eternal Mangekyō state—his eyes had been fundamentally reshaped by the Shapeless Reincarnation.

With this understanding, Akira no longer found his condition strange.

"I didn't expect my dōjutsu to be even more miraculous than I imagined. It can even reshape the vessel it exists within," Akira marveled.

Originally, he had feared that his dōjutsu might be unconventional and hinder his combat ability. A Mangekyō Sharingan that couldn't utilize its unique dōjutsu was practically crippled. Even though Susanoo was powerful, it came with limitations. Versatility in battle was critical.

But after confirming that Hua's dōjutsu had not been lost, Akira's concerns vanished.

The two abilities he inherited from Uchiha Hua were exactly what he needed: offensive techniques that could be used freely in combat.

Interestingly, both of their dōjutsu originated from Yin-Yang Release. Despite being brothers, their ocular abilities shared the same name.

Now that he possessed Hua's chakra, Akira decided it was time to experiment. He stood firm, focused his gaze, brought his hands together, centered his energy in his dantian, and shouted:

"Yin-Yang Release: Illusion Body Technique!"

Don't question the theatrics—it had been a life-or-death battle just moments ago, and he finally had the freedom to indulge in some flair. It was his first time using this Mangekyō technique. Ritual was necessary. After all, he'd watched Naruto for so many years.

As expected, the dōjutsu activated. In Akira's eyes, two translucent figures materialized before him—one black, one white. These were the Illusion Bodies summoned by the Illusion Body Technique.

However, Akira hadn't anticipated the sheer chakra cost. Even with Hua's chakra, his reserves—roughly equivalent to a standard jōnin—were strained.

If the Mangekyō weren't continually feeding chakra back to him, he might have collapsed on the spot.

"Huff... This isn't a move I can just pull out in the middle of combat. I need to prepare the Illusion Bodies ahead of time," Akira panted, mentally noting this limitation.

Both Illusion Bodies were chakra constructs born of Yin-Yang Release, similar in essence to Tailed Beasts. Unlike the massive chakra pools of a Bijū, the Illusion Bodies had significantly less chakra. However, they possessed superior concealment and could not be detected by normal sight, save by the user of the dōjutsu.

Each Illusion Body had its own unique properties. The black one, summoned by the left eye, was imbued with Yin Release.

The Yin Illusion Body was near-spiritual in form, its offensive capabilities oriented toward the mind. It could cast powerful genjutsu, control enemies, and use sensory techniques with frightening speed—similar to Dan Katō's Reika no Jutsu.

Using the Yin Illusion Body, Akira scanned the area. He had been worried someone might have witnessed his secrets. Fortunately, there were no chakra signatures nearby, and he breathed a sigh of relief.

Had there been witnesses, he would have had to silence them.

The white Illusion Body, created by the right eye, was aligned with Yang Release. It was more physical and capable of delivering actual damage.

This Yang Body could wield Yang-based ninjutsu and taijutsu. Its greatest asset, however, was its regenerative power. When using medical ninjutsu, its abilities were significantly amplified.

What Akira appreciated most was its special ability: Substitution. With it, he could transfer injuries sustained by his body directly to the Illusion Body, allowing for near-instant healing as long as he was still alive. A true cheat code.

Like the Bijū, the Illusion Bodies couldn't be truly destroyed. When damaged, they automatically decomposed and returned to his Mangekyō Sharingan.

If recalled manually, they could be summoned again without additional chakra cost. However, forced decomposition required full chakra expenditure upon resummoning.

Once formed, the Illusion Bodies could also passively gather chakra, ensuring Akira remained combat-ready.

He could even decompose the Illusion Bodies at will to restore chakra when low, drastically improving his endurance and tactical flexibility.

Akira could sense there were more than just two Illusion Bodies. Perhaps six. Given that he had Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, it was plausible. A standard Mangekyō might have only offered two.

With the new dōjutsu, Akira had gained overwhelming combat capabilities. Despite not yet graduating from the Academy, his strength had already approached—if not surpassed—Kage-level.

"Just looking at me, no one would guess that a six-year-old could rival a Kage," he thought.

He hadn't expected that shortly after arriving in the Naruto world, he'd already reached the peak of its power scale.

But Akira quickly sobered. The future held many threats: Madara, still alive in the shadows; Zetsu, manipulating from the darkness; Obito, about to act; and even Kaguya and the Ōtsutsuki clan.

He couldn't afford to be arrogant or careless. The timeline was delicate. A single misstep could destroy his advantage of foreknowledge.

From Uchiha Nan's memories, he learned it was currently Konoha Year 46. The major events that would set the story in motion were only two years away.

Akira resolved to remain low-key and focus on training. He needed time to polish his skills and grow stronger before interfering with the plot.

Since he had no way back to his original world, he would settle here. This would be his new beginning.

And so, the first step of his journey began. Guided by Uchiha Nan's memories, Akira made his way out of the Forest of Death and returned home to the Uchiha compound.
