Chapter 3: Tyrannical World 2

Nix stood shirtless, staring up at the jagged ceiling of the cave.

"I need to start with my bones first," he muttered.

"If the foundation isn't solid... everything else will crumble."

He clenched his fists.

Even breathing under this gravity was a challenge. His body trembled—but he dropped down and started his first set of push-ups.

Each rep made his arms burn. His bones screamed. His elbows quivered beneath the unnatural pressure.

Snap.

He collapsed after barely twenty.

"Tch... Weak," he scoffed—but there was a faint smile on his lips. "It's working."

Hours passed.

He roasted one of the wild hares he'd captured—its bones cracking clean under the heat, the meat slightly charred over open flame.

"Unseasoned, but not bad... maybe it's the energy in the air," he muttered, chewing slowly.

"Protein and calories—that's all I need."

He leaned against the cool rock, his eyes half-lidded.

"I'll rest for seven hours… then go again."

Days turned into weeks.

Each motion grew cleaner. Sharper. Push-ups. Squats. Stretching routines. His body, once sluggish under pressure, now moved with strength and control.

One morning, standing alone in the silence of the cave, he clenched his fist— and felt no resistance.

He grinned.

"…I can move normally now."

But he wasn't satisfied.

"Bones are done," he murmured. "Now… the muscles."

He stripped a thick branch from a nearby tree root— and began swinging it like a weighted staff. Over and over. Until his shoulders tore from the pain.

Then, he dropped it—and pushed into bodyweight drills again, letting the planet's oppressive gravity be his unrelenting sparring partner.

"This world… it's perfect for surpassing what I was on Earth," he muttered through clenched teeth.

Train. Eat. Rest. Repeat.

That became his life.

No distractions. Only purpose.

Three months had passed.

His body was honed. His movements, refined. Stronger than he had ever been on Earth—thanks to the weight of this world.

"All this time... I've stayed in this cave."

Nix stood at the mouth of it, eyes narrowed.

"It's finally time to step out."

What greeted him defied all expectations.

Behemoths. Monsters. Titanic creatures and giant animals, their massive forms shaking the forest with every step.

Nix stared, unmoving.

"This world… is far larger than I expected," he said with a serious expression.

"I'll have to tread carefully," he thought.

For an entire week, he observed in silence.

He took note of the creatures— studying their behaviors, tracking their strengths, memorizing their weaknesses.

He learned how they moved. How they hunted. How they fought.

And when he was confident…

He started hunting.

But there were three he dared not touch.

The Overlords of this region.

A colossal serpent with draconic scales that shimmered like obsidian.

A falcon-like behemoth whose wings eclipsed the trees.

A saber-fanged predator that resembled a giant smilodon, feral and primal.

Nix narrowed his eyes.

"I'm not ready for them… not yet."

With caution in his heart and steel in his gaze, he ventured out—ready to test his might against the beasts of this unforgiving forest.
