Chapter 92 - The Fall of Light – Dawn of the New Age

Setting: Abandoned ruins of Echo Base, 15 years later

POV: Unknown narrator (omniscient)

---

The world had forgotten their names.

Their stories became whispers. Their battles—myths.

But the scars they left on the Earth… never healed.

Lightning tore through the ash-heavy sky as the once-mighty Echo Base crumbled into ruin. A place that once housed gods and monsters, now silent but haunted by echoes of war.

Some said they disappeared in the final battle. Others believed they became part of something greater.

But none had seen them in fifteen years.

The world, in their absence, fell into uneasy peace. Until tonight.

Black storm clouds swirled unnaturally. Shadows bled from the earth like ink, and strange symbols began burning themselves into buildings and bodies.

The Darkness had returned.

But this time, no legend came to stand in its way.

Until…

Thoom.

A blast shook the rubble of the old base.

From the dust emerged three figures—young, armored, glowing with fresh energy but carrying the marks of their predecessors.

The first was a girl with twin sabers of shifting light and a streak of red in her braid. Her eyes mirrored Lia's fire.

Beside her, a boy in scavenged armor with one glowing arm and a smirk too reckless to live. His spirit screamed Kairo's blood.

And behind them… a silent figure cloaked in tech-woven robes, bearing a mark once worn by Reis.

They faced the storm—not with fear, but with purpose.

And above them, carved into the metal of the old Echo gate:

"We were never meant to last. But we were always meant to inspire."

A new age had begun.

Not with gods.

But with inheritors.
