[Aurora City, Teriem Empire, Earth C09T - Year 2085]
"Wake up, trash!" An angry echo traveled through the classroom, followed by a heavy thud as a sleeping boy was sent flying off.
"Huh? What in the devil's name is this?" The boy grumbled, blinking and pushing the desk remains aside before standing.
He ignored everything around him as confusion painted his face, and then he checked his body.
His once lively body was now a mess; his arms were thin, dry, and devoid of any strength.
Pain wrecked his scenes, yet he shrugged it off, given that he was used to much worse.
He shook his head, knowing he was not weak nor miserable compared to now.
Thus, he came to the conclusion it was not his own body.
'Too weak, and fragile, definitely not mine...' The boy made up his mind, closing his eyes as he thoroughly recalled his memories.
He remembered the hero king's spear piercing through his head, blowing it into smithereens, and the cold silence that followed.
He was once Justin Valemond, a deprived human turned demon after drowning in black magic and unethical experiments to avoid a premature death caused by a terminal illness.
'But who is this and what's happening?' His questions continued as he began to observe his surroundings, only for an intense beep to ring inside his ears.
[Demonic Company System integration complete.]
[Previous owner's memory inbound!]
The noise soon turned into a heavy headache as Justin fell to the ground, holding his head.
"This trash has finally gone insane!" The culprit of his suffering laughed out loud, a young boy with long, red hair and a couple of piercings spread across his face.
He was popular due to his muscular, tall build, and although his body looked fine, his face was a different story.
Alister's face was ugly and unlikable to most, yet none dared to comment on such a thing due to his nature and background.
He was dressed in an outfit no different from the rest of the students.
A black shirt topped with a sharp white jacket and a set of black pants covering his legs.
Two golden trims below each shoulder and golden buttons lining the center of the jacket on each side.
His words caused the entire class to burst into laughter as everyone began to joke about the boy's state.
Meanwhile, Justin began to calm down as clarity washed over him following the complete disappearance of the headache.
'By the devil, nothing could compare! Not even that annoying fucker's spear!' Justin thought as he stood up, twisting his neck before looking at the one standing proudly before him.
"Praise the devil for his mercy!!!" Having been given a second chance at life, Justin shouted excitedly before staring at Alister.
Although he knew the guy was the young master of the Wei-Liang family, he didn't care and didn't bother questioning his actions.
Killing him was the first thing on Justin's mind.
However, it was never for the sake of the previous Justin.
He saw it as a way to celebrate his new beginning and, most importantly, a method to summon demons into the living world!
"Listen, Alister!" Justin spoke, his finger pointing at Alister, causing the guy to frown in confusion as Justin paused for a moment.
"You are so fucking ugly, no wonder your mother died!" The insult slowly turned into a maniac's laughter as Alister felt like an arrow piercing through his stomach.
"You dare?!!" It didn't take long for Alister to explode in anger as Justin snickered at him while the noisy and annoying remarks began echoing through the class once again.
One thing is for sure: Justin was slightly surprised because Alister didn't attack him right away.
'A silent spell will do.' It didn't matter either way, he had an idea in mind to swiftly take Alister's life.
He didn't care about the students present, guessing they were just a bunch of wimps, given they did nothing but throw lame remarks so far.
"Does this trash think he could stand a chance against Alister?"
"No way, he's a cripple!"
"Heh! Once a sandbag, forever a sandbag!" Although they were annoying, Justin knew the reason.
Humans in this world gathered the mana into their dantians before using it to cultivate.
Although this body was crippled and unsuitable for cultivation, he never intended to cultivate either way.
After all, magic and mana control were related to the heart or brain rather than the dantian.
Justin laughed, momentarily comparing his past life to this body's previous owner.
While the former Justin wasn't cursed with something such as a terminal illness, his life was filled with misery due to being a cripple.
His background didn't even matter at that point, despite being one of the seven great families, given that he was particularly abandoned, left to fend for himself.
"FUCK THE HEAVENS, PRAISE THE DEVIL, AND TONIGHT WE SHALL PARTY FOR HIS DIVINE MERCY!"
Justin clapped his hands together before standing still, in a prayer pose, as he began chanting while the mana in the atmosphere around him began to seep into his body.
Normally, there would be no need for such a thing. But knowing its effect on the average clueless human, he proceeded to do it.
'Praise the devil for his gifts!' Having witnessed the immediate effect as everyone began to lose their focus, Justin took the chance to cast his silent teleportation spell!
"Ahahaha, He's completely mad! Rig—" Alister shouted in ecstasy, only for his words to get caught in his throat as Justin disappeared momentarily from his place before appearing behind him.
"How—" Alister froze, the pain erupting within his chest as the crimson hole bloomed through his chest.
The light faded from his eyes, his body collapsed to the ground like a lifeless rock, and the class was thrown into chaos.
[You've killed Alister Wei-Liang and earned 250 EXP!]
[You've leveled up!] (x3)
'Fuck it, will figure this later.' Guessing what the system was from his new memories, Justin ignored it and focused on the things at hand.
The students became far more annoying; their reactions to Alister's death were a headache he didn't wish to deal with by himself.
He looked at the corpse before him, making up his mind to sacrifice it for a summon.
Justin kneeled beside Alister's corpse and swiftly placed his hand on it before beginning his summoning ritual.
"PRAISE THE DEVIL, TEAR THE VEIL, AND TAKE THE FLESH!"
"PRAISE THE DEVIL, TEAR THE VEIL, AND TAKE THE FLESH!"
"PRAISE THE DEVIL, TEAR THE VEIL, AND TAKE THE FLESH!"
He began his chanting immediately as the corpse started shaking slowly.
"MUUUUUUUURDERER!"
"NOOOO, THE YOUNG MASTER IS DEAD!"
"QUICK, YOU FOOLS, SUBDUE HIM FOR NOW."
"Don't fear him, he only succeeded because he snuck up on Alister!" The voices rang through the class once again as some of the students rushed out, while some rushed toward him.
Unfortunately, it was too late since the summoning was already done.
Two sharp claws pierced through the corpse's remains, tearing it apart before climbing up.
'An Imp? Not bad.' Having used the worst and cheapest type of summoning, Justin didn't find the outcome strange.
Two crimson eyes, a nonexistent nose, and a wide mouth filled with sharp teeth painted the creature's face.
It was short and its body was muscular. Its skin was deep purple with a large hole at the center of its chest.
It kneeled in respect, shocking Justin with its intelligence.
"How may I serve you, my liege?" The imp spoke as Justin blinked, thinking about the current situation.
"Wipe the living fuck out of this room, my dear angel!" Having summoned a lesser demon, Justin wasn't very confident whether it could deal with the ever-present or not.
It was only natural, given he didn't have a good idea about how such a creature would fare against cultivators.
Either way, it was a chance to put it to the test.
"It shall be done, my liege!" The imp responded before marching toward the students, staring at it.
Some were amazed, some were unfazed, and some were wary of the imp due to its strange nature.
Its words were a joke for some due to its height and size, rendering it as nothing more than a child.
Some took it seriously because the imp was particularly an unidentified entity, so such things as weakness were unknown.
The demon grinned widely, revealing its razor-sharp teeth.
"Praise the devil for his gifts!" The imp shouted, knowing such expressions and actions meant they were inexperienced.
Humans had many weaknesses, and the easiest to aim for their heads.
"You, you look brave and mighty!" The imp shouted sarcastically at the closest student, a young boy with two shaky legs.
"Stay away, I warn you!!!" The boy screamed as the imp bent forward, ignoring him and bursting toward his face.
"Nooo!!!" The boy screamed again as the imp landed on his shoulders, shocking him with its speed before twisting his neck and ending his life.
"Praise the devil for his gift!" Justin shouted upon witnessing the outcome, feeling satisfied with the summon's performance.
Then he ignored the imp's slaughter and slumped down to the ground, intending to form his first mana circle while the.
Casting a minor summoning chant and a silent teleportation spell left him drained since he had no methods to protect himself.
"You may feast on them as long as you can buy me some time!" Justin spoke once last time before closing his eyes, preparing himself for the next wave.
