Chapter 23 - 22

Chapter Twenty-Two: Time Until Fusion

After securing Selene, Crow stepped into a shadowed grove at the edge of the village.

A place where no prying eyes could reach.

He opened his personal system panel —

the deep, hidden interface only players with extreme authority could access.

Golden text shimmered in front of his eyes.

[Player: Crow]

[Level: 3]

[Class: Divine Controller (SSS-Rank)]

[Subclass: Necromancer (SSS-Rank)]

[Owned Units:]

• Divine Rank:

Sasha (Sword Empress) Aeris (Elven Goddess of Wind)

• Hero Rank:

Seraphina (Ghost Hero) Selene (Fallen Star Knight)

• Army Units:

100 A-Rank Elves (Archers, Mages, Warriors) 400 B-Rank Elves (Rangers, Infantry) 11 C-Rank Elves (Trainees)

Crow's gaze shifted lower — to the timer at the bottom of the panel.

It pulsed a dark, ominous red.

[World Fusion Event Timer: 1 Year | 00 Months | 00 Days | 00 Hours]

He narrowed his eyes.

One year.

Exactly one year until the Game World and Reality fused completely.

No more respawns.

No more "safe zones."

No more "players" — only survival of the fittest.

In the past life, humanity had panicked.

Cities had fallen.

Nations collapsed under the sudden invasion of monsters, magic, and gods.

Billions had died.

But this time?

Crow wasn't planning to survive.

He was planning to conquer.

He closed the panel with a thought, the golden text fading into nothingness.

He had already amassed an empire's worth of power at level 3 —

Divine beings, Heroes, elite armies.

And he hadn't even begun to grow serious.

The world had a year left.

One year to play pretend.

After that?

It would belong to him.

Crow tilted his head, hearing the gentle footsteps of Lyravex rushing toward him —

followed by Sasha's calm steps, Aeris's silent approach, and the faint ghostly shimmer of Seraphina floating nearby.

Selene, too, walked behind them — eyes cool, hand resting lightly on her cursed sword.

They all gathered before him, awaiting orders.

Crow smiled thinly.

"So much to do," he whispered.

"And so little time."
