Chapter 7 — The Rising Dragon: A Shareholder's First Step

Morning sunlight gently flooded through the windows of the Ye family home.

Ye Tian sat at the dining table, casually flipping through his phone while sipping warm tea.

On the table, a simple but hearty breakfast had been laid out — fresh porridge, fried buns, and pickled vegetables. The familiar aromas filled the air with a comforting warmth.

His family bustled around.

Liu Mei, his mother, fussed over the twins, making sure they ate properly.

Ye Sheng, his father, leisurely read the newspaper.

His sisters chatted about today's plans, the atmosphere full of laughter and life.

Just as Ye Tian picked up a steamed bun, his phone buzzed.

Ring Ring—

The caller ID showed: Unknown Number.

Raising an eyebrow slightly, Ye Tian answered.

"Hello?"

A nervous yet respectful voice sounded from the other end.

"Good morning! Is this Mr. Ye Tian?"

"This is Wang Hua, Assistant to the President of Heavenly Moon Group."

Ye Tian remained silent, waiting for the man to continue.

"We have received official confirmation regarding your recent acquisition of 10% shares in our group.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, we sincerely welcome you into our family!"

The voice trembled slightly, revealing genuine awe.

"We would be honored to arrange a formal welcome ceremony or schedule a private meeting at your convenience.

Please let us know your preference!"

Across the dining table, Ye Rou and Ye Xue looked over curiously.

Ye Sheng put down his newspaper, peering above his reading glasses.

Ye Tian smiled faintly and replied casually:

"No need for anything formal.

I'll come over myself later today."

"Yes, yes! We will prepare immediately!" the assistant said hurriedly.

After ending the call, Ye Tian put his phone down as if nothing had happened.

"Tian, who was that?" asked Ye Xue, stirring her porridge.

"Sounded pretty important," Ye Rou teased with a glint in her eye.

Ye Tian shrugged, a lazy grin on his face.

"Just some business folks trying to recruit me."

His sisters laughed, assuming he was being cheeky.

Only Ye Tian knew — the wheels of destiny had already begun to turn.

---

Half an Hour Later

Ye Tian stepped out of the house, keys of his BMW M8 dangling in his hand.

The twins rushed to the door.

"Uncle Tian! Drive safe!"

"Bring us back ice cream!"

Ye Tian ruffled their hair and chuckled.

"Okay, little princesses. Uncle will buy you the best ice cream in the city!"

Under the bright sun, Ye Tian slipped into the luxurious car and sped off toward the city center.

Heavenly Moon Group Headquarters — Mid Morning

The Heavenly Moon Group's building stood tall among the skyline — a shining monolith of glass and steel.

Valets opened doors hurriedly as luxury vehicles pulled up in a continuous stream.

Businessmen in suits and elegant women in heels flowed into the building like a tide.

When Ye Tian's BMW M8 pulled up, a few eyes turned to him — admiring the sleek design but then glancing away.

One car among many.

But inside the building, a storm was brewing.

At the front desk, the young receptionist glanced up lazily — until she recognized Ye Tian's face from the internal shareholder update sent that morning.

Her eyes widened instantly.

"Sir! Welcome!" she stuttered, bowing deeply.

Immediately, the atmosphere shifted.

Within minutes, two senior executives — Manager Liu and Vice-President Xu — came rushing down.

Their foreheads were already glistening with sweat.

"Mr. Ye!" Manager Liu greeted, bowing almost ninety degrees.

"We are honored by your visit!"

The nearby staff looked on, stunned.

Who is this young man?!

Ye Tian smiled faintly.

"Relax. I'm just here to take a look."

"Of course, of course! Please, this way!"

They escorted him personally to the top floor, a privilege normally reserved for only board directors.

Executive Conference Room

Sitting in a plush leather chair, Ye Tian listened silently as the executives reported.

Heavenly Moon Group wasn't just a hotel chain.

They operated over 38 luxury hotels domestically and 6 internationally.

Additional assets included spa resorts, high-end restaurants, and tourism companies.

The Group's estimated market value was over 1.3 billion yuan — and growing steadily each year.

As a 10% shareholder, Ye Tian was entitled to dividends averaging nearly 130 million yuan annually.

Hearing these numbers, Ye Tian remained calm, showing no sign of being overwhelmed.

Inside, however, a flame of ambition burned brighter.

This is only the beginning.

After clarifying some legal documents and providing his preferred contact details, Ye Tian gave a simple instruction:

"I'm a passive shareholder.

Continue your operations as usual — just send me quarterly reports."

"Understood!" Vice-President Xu nodded repeatedly.

Their attitude was almost worshipful — they didn't dare offend a new mysterious major shareholder whose background they couldn't even trace.

---

Outside — Noon

Walking out of the Heavenly Moon building, Ye Tian breathed in the fresh air, feeling his blood boiling with excitement.

His phone buzzed again.

Ye Tian's lips curved into a confident smile.

Good. The system knows how to keep me motivated.

Just as he was about to head toward his car, his phone rang — a real-world call this time.

Seeing it was Ye Xue, his eldest sister, he answered quickly.

"Tian, could you pick up the twins from kindergarten later?

I might get delayed at the meeting."

"Of course," Ye Tian replied warmly.

"Leave it to me."

After ending the call, Ye Tian leaned against the BMW, eyes squinting slightly under the sunlight.

Wealth, power, and family happiness... all within my reach now.

The dragon had awakened.

And soon, all of Blue Star would feel his rise.
