Yoon Ji-hye was a high school student at Chamber Academy. The daughter of a well-known conglomerate family, she was set to become the youngest successor in generations to lead the company.
Ji-hye, as everyone called her, had been racking up achievements since she was little and had even started getting involved—though just a little in company affairs as early as the age of seven. She had always been the pride of her grandfather, Yoon San-ho, the president of Serenity Group.
Now seventeen, Ji-hye carried herself with an elegant but sweet aura. Her wavy black hair, deep ocean-blue eyes, small nose, and soft, thin lips gave her an overall charming look, made even more striking by her porcelain-like white skin.
On her first day at Chamber Academy, all the new students were gathered in the school's grand hall. Naturally, Ji-hye became the center of attention. But she wasn't the only one caught up in the whirlwind of student gossip—several other elite students also drew plenty of eyes. As usual, Ji-hye didn't care much for the attention. All she wanted was to study peacefully and become even smarter.
After a while, the principal stepped up and began his speech. Ji-hye listened politely, though her mind had long drifted elsewhere. When the speech finally ended, the hall filled with enthusiastic applause.
Next up was the school tour, guided by each teacher class's. One grade was divided into ten classes, and Ji-hye was assigned to Class 1-1. As she calmly took in her surroundings, someone suddenly played with a strand of her hair, twisting it lightly with teasing fingers.
Ji-hye turned around and there was a girl. A girl with bubblegum-pink hair and emerald-green eyes. Ji-hye recognized her immediately.
"Hi!" the girl said, grinning mischievously.
