Bo He, a figure of the Three Kingdoms period.
In his youth, he entered Difei Mountain (modern Zhongnan Mountain) to study under Dong Feng, mastering techniques of breath cultivation and herbal arts. Later, he went to West City Mountain to study under Wang Jun, obtaining the secrets of the Great Way. He stared at the walls for three years and comprehended texts such as "Essence-gathering Divine Dan Formula," "Three Sovereigns Astronomy," and "Essence of the Great Clarity Scriptures."
Bo He established the Bo Family Tao in Luoyang, which later spread to the regions south of the Yangtze River.
However, due to his great fame, many falsely claimed to be Bo He in the north to preach, temporarily forming quite a significant following. Later, Bo Family Tao gradually declined, with some parts disappearing and others merging into the Shangqing School.
