After several years of hardships and setbacks, Kai Zephyr — an eighteen year old hardcore gamer who lost his father to cancer finally fulfilled his dreams and became the gaming champion of the W.G.O, with this he became one step closer in achieving his goals — giving cancerous patients what his father couldn't have, a fighting chance.
However, when he finally thought he had found joy, happiness in the cruel life he lived, he felt a sharp pain at his back of his head.
When he thought it was all over, fate decided to play another cruel joke on him, only to be met with a strange message at the moment of his death.

However life wasn't smooth sailing, he came to understand that there wasn't much difference between his current life and his previous life. It was worse even.
In a world of beast tamers, he was reborn as one of the weakest beast tamers to have ever existed, a background character.

Realizing he was a character whose death was necessary for the main character's development, he began training to survive the coming chaos.
But even at that, he couldn't escape the reality that awaited him once again.
However, when all hope seemed lost to him and when he thought he was going to die again, he came to discover that while other's tamed beasts, he tamed death.
