After a short run through the hallways, which earned me more than a few curious glances, I arrived at my classroom. I open the door and walk in to find Momo sitting at my desk.
Momo is sleeping on my desk, using her arms as cushions. I walk right next to her and say "Momo…"
She doesn't respond and I almost want to try wake her up... but I decide not to. Looking at her face, I see that her eyebrows knitted together and her lips turned down in a frown. She must be a little uncomfortable, I think to myself.
I get up close to Momo and gently wrap my arm around her shoulder. I lean her body against my chest as I put my other arm under her legs. I gently pick Momo up and out of my seat, which causes her to grumble a bit while she is still asleep. I hold Momo in my arms, while carefully sitting down. I lie down and let Momo rest on top of me, with her head on my chest.
I hug Momo's waist, while slowly running my hand up and down her back. Momo seems to be content, considering the bright smile that's adorning her sleeping face. We stay like that for quite some time, before I feel her shift on top of me.
Momo groans a bit and moves her hands up my chest, slowly approaching my face. As her fingers touch my face, she slowly opens her eyes and looks up into my eyes.
I smile a bit and say "Hey there Momo… have a nice nap?"
"Izuku…." Momo says.
"Yes, Momo?" I ask.
Momo places her hands on my chest and lifts herself up. She leans over my face and asks "Are you alright? Did you get hurt anywhere?" with concern written on her face and glossy eyes.
"I'm fine, Momo. Recovery Girl and Chisa neechan made sure I was alright before I ran over to check on you" I say.
"What happened to you?" Momo asks.
"I might have pushed myself…. a bit too far…" I say.
"Izuku… you need to be more careful…. I don't want you to get injured… or worse" Momo says as she leans in and presses her lips to my forehead.
"I'll try… Momo, but…. I can't promise that I won't get hurt" I say, while she lifts herself back up over me.
"Just… promise to be careful…. Okay?" Momo says.
"I promise" I say as I place my hand on her cheek and guide her lips to mine. We share a few moments with our lips locked before finally separating.
Momo moves and lays her head down on my chest before asking "So…. what happened with that man-child of a Villain at the USJ? You know… the one that grabbed you."
"I'm not sure… maybe his Quirk backfired on him… that's the only thing I can think of…." I say, but I think to myself, Is that what really happened.
"That doesn't really happen often. Except in the case of people who haven't gotten any experience with their Quirk, but why would the supposed leader of the group be so…. Inexperienced? Momo asks.
"We will never know. Anyway, were you and Jiro alright while I was fighting?" I ask.
"We got a little banged up from all the wind All Might was kicking up, but those harnesses and ropes helped. It's a good thing you suggested it. You know… that reminds me of something" Momo says.
"What is it?" I ask.
"Well… how'd you know that the place we were going to was called the USJ?" Momo asks.
I swallow and think, great I knew that was gonna come back to bite me. What should I tell her… maybe that I read it somewhere… yeah that would work. "I read it somewhere, can't remember where, but it was after the exams" I say.
"Oh… okay. On another note… I believe I told you that we would have a talk about the proper way to treat a lady" Momo says as she pushes herself off of me and sits down next to me.
I slowly push myself off the ground and sit across from her. "Yeah, I remember that" I say.
Momo looks straight at me with a scowl on her face and asks "Do you think that it was a good idea to manhandle Jiro and myself?"
"No, but..." I say trying to explain myself, but Momo cuts me off.
"And do you think it was a good idea to go jumping around with the two of us?" Momo continues.
"No..." I say turning my head down and backing up slightly, while Momo moves closer.
"And did you think it was a good idea to run off and fight actual Villains, when your still just a student" Momo says.
We are both silent for some time, but after a short time I hear some sobbing. I look up to see tears streaming down her face and I say "Momo… hey momo, it's alright. I'm alright."
"No…. hic... I heard it when you were fighting… hic… you were screaming… hic…" Momo says between sobs.
I scoot next to her and take her into my arms in a hug. I run my hands down her back in an attempt to soothe her, while saying "I'm here and I'm not hurt, don't worry… alright?"
Momo clings to me for some time, before finally looking up into my eyes. "Mhmm…" Momo says "Hey…. is All Might alright?"
"Yeah, he's fine. Recovery Girl took care of him and he's talking to a police officer about the incident. The officer is apparently an old friend of All Might" I say.
"Really? They must be catching up… hey Izuku?" Momo says.
"Yeah, momo?" I say.
"What did you mean, when you said you pushed yourself too hard?" Momo asks.
"Well… you know how I have be very precise with the amount of power I use?" I ask.
"Yeah…" Momo says.
"So… I usually use up to 30% and don't go above that, but…." I say, but get cut off by Momo.
"You used more than 30% of your power" Momo says.
"That's right" I say.
"How much more did you use?" Momo asks.
"I used 50%" I say.
"You… Idiot!" Momo yells while smacking me on the arm.
"Momo, calm down" I say while rubbing my arm.
"Calm down!? Are you trying to break your body Izuku!?" Momo yells.
"If this was when I first discovered my Quirk, then yes that would happen. However my body has acclimated to my Quirk quite well by now and I can handle 50% for short bursts, but I kept it going too long" I say.
"Oh… well… I guess I your Sensei will have to up the training regime. That way… I won't have to worry about you going over your limit" Momo says.
"Actually… my limit would still be there, but it would be higher. Maybe i would be able to go as high as 70% then" I say thinking out loud.
"Izuku...." Momo says, which causes me to look down and see that she is glaring at me. "This is not how you put your girlfriend at ease."
"Sorry Momo" I say scratching the back of my head.
"Well… I suppose I'll forgive you this time and you were quite the Hero today. You deserve a reward" Momo says, while leaning towards me. Momo quickly gives me a kiss on the lips and then backs away asks "Do you like your reward?"
I blush a bit and nod my head before saying "once more?"
Momo giggles before saying "sure… it isn't like you are the only one enjoying your reward."
We lean in towards each other for another kiss, but get interrupted by someone saying "Ah, Midoriya there you are!"
We both turn and see Iida and Uraraka standing in the doorway to the classroom. "Hey Iida, Uraraka. What's up?"
"We just wanted to check up on you, Deku. A police officer told us you got sent to the nurse's office along with All Might" Uraraka says.
"I'm fine Uraraka" I say.
"By the way… were we interrupting something Midoriya?" Iida asks, which causes both of us to blush and we stand up.
"No… don't worry about it" Momo says.
"Alright then. Want to walk to the station with us Midoriya? And of course you can come if you wish Yaoyorozu" Iida says.
"Sure" I say.
"I'll come as well" Momo says.
"Great! Let's go!" Iida yells out.
"Wait! I have to stop at the nurse's office. I… may have left in haste… I want to let them know that I'm going home" I say.
"Alright we will wait for you here Deku" Uraraka says.
"Indeed" Iida says.
I leave the classroom and walk back to the nurse's office. When I arrive, I get a lecture about maintaining my health. After ten minutes I finally get let go and I go to rejoin the others to head home.
